Quality little player Sterling, think like Wilshere he might plateau in his career but tbh it's been blown out of proportion the people to blame in this whole thing are Rodgers and Owl Face I'm willing to bet... Shame Oxlade Chaimberlain doesn't get that much game time because he is just so likeable (an arsenal player, likeable!) and he can be brilliant too

How very boring. Really promising player, young lad, shown great promise for the future. Lad felt tired, and was honest about his physical condition. What do we do? Label him 'overrated , only in it for the money', etc. Leave him alone, he's a young boy, who's been used a lot this season, and, I'm sure, proud to be playing for his country. He travelled, and played, but still we slam him. Oh, and by the way, If Moses played for Swansea, and got the penalty against us, there would be hell to pay. Football is a tribal game, but sometimes logic and empathy is left at the door when discussing players and incidents from rival clubs. He fucking dived, you all know it. I don't think he dived, but he fell over easily. If there had been no contact I would say dived. H There was contact, but not enough to fall over. If we accept that, then he dived. Same with the Shawcross penalty. There was contact, but again, not enough to go down. My problem with Shawcross, is that he doesn't need to hold.

Sorry, do specifically mean England, if so, non are in it for the money, it goes to charity, I meant playing football in general.

I don't know what his motivation is.
All I know,is that he informed his manager that he wasn't feeling 100 percent going into the game.
He attended the match, played, and was honest about his physical condition.
I applaud him, yet others use it as a stick to beat him with.
What is he? 19? A non story, which has become an excuse to ridicule a promising, future star.

Was there enough contact? Was he running fast enough that a little tug on the shirt might have made him fall over? Possibly? If it is possible no matter how unlikely then he has to be given the benefit surely? H

But would we have given such a vast benefit of the doubt if it was an opposing player?
No way. There would be several threads on here slating such behaviour.

Honestly, I'm going to stop watching football soon. simon_Burnton Sit back and watch the week long coverage of the Tadic and Sterling dives then...

Not checked but did the tired little lamb turn out for Liverpool today ?, if so that would be his third consecutive game 8-|since tiredness intervened for the England game, tired my hairy arse , needs banning from international games.
