So now racism is mimmicking how someone speaks. It goes on everyday by actors. No one complains to the standards council about that. Maybe we should complain about foreigners who speak broken English because its trying to sound the same. A person can use whatever accent or dialect they wish. I have this belief that its not illegal.

Where is he having a go at Jamaicans or black people? The Jamaican accent is not the preserve black Jamaicans - Michael Manley was considered one of Jamaica's best Prime Ministers: ...was he making fun of his fellow Jamaicans?

Unlikely no..but Mr read was don't you think? No. Not at all. I come at it believing people aren't racists until they are shown to a racist. Many people seem to come at it from the stance that UKIP have to be racists because they are against (uncontrolled) immigration, therefore when presented with this they infer it has to have racist connotations. As the video I linked in previously showed UKIP are a multiracial party. There will be some racists in UKIP (as with all the other parties), but if you start off from the premise that they are racists then you'll always interpret any of their actions in a racist way.

And that demonstrates what? A far right party supports some of UKIP's policies - as opposed to some of the other parties. And that proves UKIP are racist? So if National Socialists liked some of the policies of Labour that would make Labour Nazi's?
Yet the multiracial membership of UKIP is just ignored. And UKIP's policies.
Nearly 28% of the electorate backed UKIP at the last European election. Does that make them all racists?

26.6% on a 34% turnout which means 9% of the population actually voted UKIP I understand. And yet more evidence.. Who is Nigel Farage's new Polish mate? The new addition to UKIP's disparate bunch of Euro oddballs is the Polish MEP Robert Iwaszkiewicz who has been given special dispensation from his KNP party to join the UKIP group. KNP is an extreme-right group led by Janusz Korwin-Mikke, who is one of the most "outspoken" MEPs in Europe, who has a habit of doing things like denying the holocaust, saying that women shouldn't be allowed to vote and referring to black Americans as "niggers". Here are some quotes from the leader of the Polish party that has saved UKIP's lucrative European subsidies by lending them one of his MEPs. "Women are dumber than men and should not be allowed to vote" "Evolution has ensured that women are not too intelligent" "The general public should not see the disabled on television" (an objection to the 2012 Summer Paralympics) "Democracy is the stupidest form of government ever conceived" "Gays are a gang of louts imported from abroad" "We must destroy the minimum wage and we must destroy the power of trade unions" (from this speech in which he refered to black Americans as "niggers") As for the man himself, UKIP's new ally Robert Iwaszkiewicz has praised Adolf Hitler for his tax policies and defended domestic violence. Here are a couple of quotes: "If taxes were lower in Hitler's time, and now they're higher, what's wrong with wanting to say so?" "[wife beating can] help bring many wives back down to earth" It's absolutely clear that UKIP is now reliant upon a man from a very distasteful extreme-right bunch of Holocaust deniers in order to keep their taxpayer funded subsidies rolling in. Methinks you protest too much Sir.

Ukip does seem to attract more than it's fair share of oddballs. The calypso song was ill thought out and quite simply ridiculous. However any party that Huddy is against so vehemently is the party for me Go Ukip

You see, its these middle aged white robots that devalue prejudice for genuine victims of it. They generalise everthing to the detriment of their own argument. As for the party who are suppose to be holocaust deniers, its actually one guy who apparently isnt in that party anymore and not the guy who aligned with ukip. Its abit like the myth that the BNP are going to kick out anyone that isnt white. Neither their policy document nor their constitution states it.. Still. God bless the middle aged white robots.

Still trying to convince yourself that UKIP are not racist I see To suggest the UKIP propaganda video you posted, where a few token people from ethnic minorities are paraded in front of an entirely white audience, means that UKIP is a multi-racial party is quite frankly laughable...... But if it makes you feel better

The notion of a white middle class man putting on a fake west indian accent simply illustrates the casual racism of UKIP that is at the tip of the iceberg. They are racist to the core.

When I worked at Werrington YOI few years ago it surprised me the number of white British "trainees" from Nottingham that spoke with Caribbean twangs. Apparently it was the "street language" of the drug dealers and other young criminal fraternity from that area of the Midlands.

Theres nothing racist about it. Absolute shite yes.
All parties have people in them that say or do things that I'm sure none of the leaders wish had of happened. This looks like one of those occassions. As a young and rapidly expanding party I'm sure UKIP will have more of these than the other more established and polished parties.
For those who say that the party is racist, could they please expand and post 1 single racist policy that they have? I presume not and further assume that you are all more than happy with the present three party system that we currently endure?

On the B side Farage pulls his eye lids up whilst Read sings Chinky Chonky Chinaman as a tribute to UKIP's admiration of China's stance on human rights.

But if it makes you feel better So if they're racist - please present the policy that demonstrates this. Come on. It's easy isn't it? Give us one policy please. Shouting "racist" or "racism" at anyone or thing you don't like - helps destroy debate - and far worse, allows the true racists to hide.
