He clearly said Moses had cheated on MOTD. Shearer had a slightly more diplomatic response.
In light of Monk's amateurish rants, shouldn't Hart's biased but damning outburst also face punishment.
I'm struggling to see a difference between the two opinions.

I think he shouldn't appear on the oh so impartial BBC again.

He was almost squealing when Shearer stepped in.
Make him wear a Miss Piggy nose for next weekend's broadcasts.

He is a TV pundit and gets paid for his opinions, not quite sure why he should get retribution for doing his job. Libellous defamation Any intentional false communication, either written or spoken, that harms a person's reputation; decreases the respect, regard, or confidence in which a person is held; or induces disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against a person. I know it's Monday morning but Hartson took his opinion a bit too far.

It was a penalty , end of story. The ref came to the right decision, Monk called him a cheat too. They should both be done.

To be honest he probably wasn't the best person to ask, what with him being a Swansea fan. He was passionate about his club but the BBC should've known what was going to happen. Then again I think they probably did. The same organisation has some photos on it's news site showing Rangel pulling Moses shirt and then allows the ginger nob end to rant away like a looney.

It was us (the fans) "fault" anyway for daring to appeal for it, did we invent this also?

This is a good point and some of our ex players would possibly show their passion for the club too. - questionable whether he should have been a pundit yesterday Bring back Alan Hansen, first of all he would have been able to give a defenders point of view and even if he was discussing a Liverpool player, I think that his comments would have been more balanced and diplomatic. Hughes comments re Monks inexperience in dealing with the press were excellent. As for MOTD presenters they had several hours to consider how to give a fairer overview

Can't see where you are coming from, it was a penalty and the right decision was made. Tugging someone's shirt when they are at full speed is entirely different from when you are standing still with both feet planted. Much more of a penalty than Lampards, and I don't hear many complaints about that.

I think the ageing process which appears to have turned him into an intriguing mix of an out of work Viking and PC Plum from Balamory is retribution enough.

The question is, should Ryan have got away with holding because everyone else does, or should referees start to give penalties for this type of offence?
For me this offence needs to be taken out of the game and CLEAR cases of holding opponents need to be penalised.
Regarding Hartson, he's given his opinion, so we are now asking for retribution against a pundit, whatever next?

Do none of you think that being a native of Swansea, Mr Hartshon might just have a tad of allegiance towards the Welsh underdogs - also the fact that he is a known Swansea City fan? Hardly impartial. Stafford, where has your sense of fair play suddenly come from? We didn't get given a stonewall penalty against Newcastle, and there was no media jizz fest over that? Mumf, these things will even themselves out, so I don't gice a rats arse whether he should have gone over or not; you know as well as I do that we have had bad decisions and fortunate ones - but get off your high horse; every week you turn up to watch a sport that was stripped of all honesty and decency withy regard to abiding by the rules at the very inception of the Premier League. If you don't like it, stop attending or switch off, but like all of us who contribute to lining the pockets of the Premier League, we are to blame for the creation of the monster and everything that goes with it.
