Or so they thought. Chris Commons and Ben Marshall are 2 that immediately spring to mind, they looked very promising at the time but wanted to move to "bigger clubs". Who else? Gouranga.

Foster did well for himself, so did Brynjar. A bit of a fuck up from the others though. Shouldn't you be getting ready to get down to Delilahs instead of wasting time on tinternet? Gouranga.

Don't think Marshall left because he was going to a bigger club. He wanted to be playing football and saw the writing on the wall here. He's doing alright, it seems.

Andy Griffin.Couldn't blame him at the time. Since Steino I don't think we've sold/released anyone we'd rather keep. Those Bego & Shawcross rumours don't frighten me.

I don't recall O'Connor being forced out. Franklin certainly didn't go on to better things when he went to Bogota - or he wouldn't have been back within months. I don't think Foster was forced out - he had the chance to join Man Utd and he took it and the club didn't try to block the move. Marshall, as said above, wanted to play first team football. You can argue, that TP should have given him the chance - possibly in Europe and as a sub in League games.

Yes but didn't someone on here demand an audience with Moxey and the alleged transfer request looked like Moxey had just scribbled it on a bit of scrap paper in the other room and tried to pass it off as the official hand written request?

Ben Marshall?
He wanted to move to get a game because he knew the manager at the time wasn't going to play him and we had Shotton on the wing instead.

Lee Polishmyferrari Hendrie Could of been a good player at Stoke and gone about his profession in a respectable fashion. But chucked it all up the wall on a gamble elsewhere after he was well established at Stoke. Dickhead.

But chucked it all up the wall on a gamble elsewhere after he was well established at Stoke. Dickhead. I don't actually blame him too much. At least with what we've learned since, it seems his money trouble seemed to be starting around that time , and Sheffield United were offering more than we were. Doesn't matter what money you earn in life, if your outgoings are substantial in comparison you're going to take whichever offer promises the most money. I don't think he would have been as effective for us either, as no matter what happened at that point he was going down that route and the football would have been coming second, or third to him.

Well-established? Must have missed that. Well established as in the starting line up getting regular football. As well as this the fans had taken to him as well. He had it good at Stoke and fucked up.
