Not really noticed when at the games but not gone tonight but the crowd are really getting on his back. As soon as he gets the ball the fans are having a go at him. Seems really harsh, certainly doesn't sound good on TV

Agree. Don't see why they are moaning. You can't go forward if there's no fucking pass on.
One of our best players.

Dog shit AGAIN tonight . He holds up our attack and gives them chance to sort their defence out. To negative.

The constant rumours about transfer requests and his attitude annoy me, but he really is a class act and he was superb again tonight.

Was he actually awake tonight? All of his bad habits were fully on shown during that game.
Also when playing 4-3-3 he seems to think he doesnt have to put in a tackle. He left Whelan to do all the work.
Absolute passenger in this game

Dog shit AGAIN tonight . He holds up our attack and gives them chance to sort their defence out. To negative. A bit harsh that Stafford...BUT I lost count the times he laid the ball back when he had passes on OUT WIDE and to spread the play and keep the momentum going forward... Some other posters have commented "theres no forward ball on'...there were PLENTY of wide options for him throughout the game but he chose to lay the ball back> Keeping possession is one thing but when you have the momentum then you ve got to seize the opportunity

Our fans would rather us smash it 30 yards out of play than keep possession.

Our fans would rather us smash it 30 yards out of play than keep possession. There were balls on more than a few times tonight but he turned and went backwards. Nobody is saying he should launch it forward every time but there were some good and relatively simple balls on tonight and he didn't take them.

For once I agree with Stafford,Nzonzis instinct is always to pass back or sideways and when a break is on and we have men over that's really frustrating...that's why the fans are booing, pure frustration

Not his best game, but he's still by far our best central midfielder, anyone who says otherwise is a complete widge.

Absolutely clueless. They wouldn't know a footballer if it bit them on the arse.

What we needed to see us home as he was calm and controlled in possession in the second half... However non existant in the first and left Whelan overloaded far too many times.
A mixed bag from him

Whenever he got the ball he passed it backwards. We lost momentum , impetus and attacking threat every time he got the ball. There is nothing else to say.
He was very poor.

Adam completed 66% of his passes versus nzonzis 86%... Given we spent a lot of the game 1 up and Charlie created no key chances possession is vital. He did fine in possession
