Complaining is one thing, but if you are English you support the team whoever the manager is, whatever is selections and whatever the results. Turning your back on your country is as bad as it gets. The trouble is that there seems to be a growing disconnection between English football fans and the England national team. Effectively, for all manner of reasons, there's a feeling that the England football team doesn't represent us anymore(and by us, I mean those that have openly stated they're no longer interested in how England go on). Once that happens, you're not turning your back on your country, just on a group of people who don't mean that much to you. I've grown up wanting nothing more than to see England win the World Cup. I don't want to feel like I don't care what happens in England matches. It actually pisses me off that I don't care anymore, and wish something could happen to make me get that feeling back. I just don't see it happening in the foreseeable. I certainly don't feel like I'm turning my back on my country. It's more like they've turned their back on me.

He got 4 out of 10 for the Leicester match in the S.Mirror. What do you have to do to get 2? He was really awful!

Ive read many of your posts geoff and you try to give a reasoned response to many subjects but this is just nonsense.....absolute nonsense A poorly run FA, from top to bottom. My own personal view of the England team is that its full over hyped up VERY average players who really didnt seemed to put the commitment, passion, or have the 'want to win' in Brazil. I was so so dissapointed in them. They used to represent the hopes of a lot of people up and down the country....not any more I dont think...they dont even give us hope As for me - Until this changes they can fuckin rot the lot of em.

For this to even be mentioned is absolutely ridiculous. What an absolute farce and complete embarrassment the national set up really is. Tyler Blackett got out-muscled and out-jumped for a goal at the weekend against 2 foot 3 ex non-league player Jamie Vardy. Not too mention giving a penalty away and being at the heart of a team that conceded 5 goals at a newly promoted side. And this now warrants an England call up?
Pathetic.
My mate farted in a Man Utd top the other day. No doubt he'll be getting 'the call' off Roy soon as well.
