Woy is a prick, always has been, always will be. Shit manager too. True, but why don't the media realise this? It appears they know he's not very good but have taken the stance that there isn't anybody else around so they're going to stick by him.

Which brings me back to the broken spanner analogy. Who else but the FA would keep a useless tool just because it looks good in a toolbox (blazer) rather than using all their resources to find a new one that can actually do the job?

There are Managers out there who would do a better job than Woy, but the FA want an English manager in charge, I personally could not give a Donkeys donger where the manager is from, so long has he can improve us and make us better.

There are dozens of managers who could do a better job than Woy. I reckon even Pulis would at least get them organized and it's not as if there are any flair players other than Sterling. England are a long way off anything special. Woy's a clown, the players are shit and the FA are a bunch of dinosaurs.

The media want an English manager because they are a bunch of pricks who want to appeal to a readership that still believes we should win every tournament by right. The FA are shit scared of the media (see how they appointed Keegan who the media clamoured for).
The FA are also full of idiots with the same mentality - blazered Daily Mail reading types.
So, once you are hamstrung by the requirement to be English and the fact that the manager needs to be whiter than white (as the same media will dig up any old shit) and the fact that if you are any good you'll want to be involved in club management you are left with a pond that contains one fish.
And that fish is a yes man who looks like an owl and lies about playing players who are in form and playing regularly for their club sides.
