I didn't provoke any off them or did my son we were on the end off the row any were else in are end this doesn't happen. I can honestly say off course they was banter things said between people round us and people over the netting but I wouldn't involve my self in . that I'm front off my child even tho I reacted the way I did I just assumed after the goal things were said which resulted in this fan spitting. If that was the case then you and others have nothing to worry about, and the club should deal with the fan in question. The fella I have spoken with few times to day has it all on cctv and once he had full police reports and stewards from that area will be intending to deal with it

Boy the Original Post was hard to understand but I think I got the gist of it.
So was there an actual coming together of fans when Leicester scored in the South Stand?

Top, middle or bottom) have been made as "wind-ups" and plenty of folk just sign up to take the piss and they're never heard of again. It's the land of the internet.

Unfortunately my lady spits. So does mine but it never bothered me. Once I have relinquished possession, so to speak, she can do what she likes with it. No longer my concern.

I'm not suggesting that you're on a wind-up at all, i was just answering the question. The amount of "(fill in club name here) fan in peace here..." opening posts that occur only for that 'peaceful' person to then start fishing after their 5th post is too high to count

Not as such just when we scored we were pushed towards the netting and towards your fans. Then presumably it was your fans, Leicester fans, who pushed you and your lad towards the netting and in to the faces of the Stoke fans? Who, lets face it, won't have been best pleased to see their team mugged by your bunch of clowns with virtually their only attack of the match. If someone spat at the Leicester fans and it hit your lad then that's horrible and disgusting and unforgivable but surely some of the blame lies with the grinning, gesticulating, goons from Leicester who pushed you and your lad in to the faces of the Stoke fans at the worst possible moment?

I'd be impressed if anyone could spit across that divide. Maybe if you were on row 30 or so you could try and angle it down at someone on the front rows and use the height of the stadium, but surely no one can just from a standing position clear the separation between the two fans.

I'm still intrested in the length of this alleged gob. Are we in Toxteth O'Grady territory? When we was pushed in to the netting this . As u can amaged does move towards us fans and visa versa from both side a fully grown man can spit fairly far when intending to. I'm not looking for trouble or arguments with genuine fans just putting my point across for my actions You were there pal but it still seems a bit of a stretch that someone specifically singled out your boy for a gobbing at from that distance. I've been gobbed at, at a football match, particularly at away games when in a lower tier below home fans but never felt personally targeted.

Happened when they scored but to be fair if some one spat at my son id jump it as well, plenty of banter going on all match but when he jumped not one stoke fan tried to reach him, no one was there to pull a stoke fan back like there was the Leicester fan (stewards). I just felt sorry for the young one.

I think most of us would go mental in that situation. In hindsight it may not have been the right thing to do but I'd challenge even the most saintly to not have done something they later regretted. Thank goodness the netting was there for all concerned!

Correct on the fact I wasn't happy with fact me and my Lad were pushed in that direction by my own fans and for that yea I have to blame them for there part in it And making us head towards it

I would as much to say he didn't mean to get my son when spitting cross but he did and my actions lead me to try and get to him in anger. I regret them now and have to live with what I did in front of my son but the bottom line for me is he still spat across and hit my son in the face.

Some people have posted in the past to reduce the netting width and to even down to a couple of lines of stewards like at West Brazil, heaven help us if that ever happened.
Dirty disgusting bloke for spitting, and knobhead Leicester fans for charging towards Stoke fans, that's life at a major football match in England in today's times

Michael, sorry your day was ruined by some Stokie numpty. It highlights the problem that still exists in all football clubs. I am sure there are many stokies who would applaud your defence of your son but the correct thing was to grab the nearest steward and have the stokie spitter ejected by him. I know it works, I had six idiots chucked out of our old Stoke end when playing Blackpool a few seasons ago because they were ignoring the game and just stood above the Blackpool fans baiting them. Football, not violence, has to be the answer. But I still hope your team get beat when we next meet!!
