Just been thinking about goals that I have watched us score and thought what a fucking goal, what would be your top 3?
3- Griffin against Coventry in the fog, I can remember saying to my dad, "It probably looked further than it was because of the fog" and then seeing it when I got home and realised it wasnt.
2- toss up between Hoekstra against Reading or Kevin Keen at the Vic against Derby when he volleyed it back across goal.
1- Crouch against Man City, no explanation needed!!
*Mame Birmingham Diouf v Man City 30/08/14 - stunning

How can Griffin's be third when the second spot is a toss up between two? Hoekstra and Keen are equally as good as eachother I'm my eyes I can't decide between the 2 at all so I give them joint honours as I think both are better than Griffin but not up to Crouchys standards

Brammer Vs Luton stands out. I'll use the Griff against Coventry one because I was there, but I genuinely couldn't actually see it through the fog and beer glasses and then Crouchy against Citeh

Not necessarily the best, but my most memorable:
3. Paul Richardson at Notts County 2. Steino at Wembley 1. Ricardo Fuller at West Ham
With an honourable mention to Ric v Villa and all five goals in the semi final.
PS: Mama v Fulham...lol

Last minute goal that got us promotion instead of disappointment. Lovely knock back by Big Bren.

1. Stein v Man Utd (league cup at the Vic) 2. Beagrie v Bournemouth (I think it was Bournemouth anyway. The one where he took the ball from our penalty area all the way to their goal) 3. Stein v Notts Forest away (his second I think it was)

First 3 that came to mind for no particular reason were - Chris Iwelumo - I think it was against Wigan in the cup. Totally unexpected. Steino - Against Forest away - it all just came together in one swift incisive move. Crouchy - That goal against City will live with me forever. I swear the top deck of the stand actually shook when that went in.

Weather blowing a blizzard. A poor cross into the area put the ball behind Mama at an awkward height. Somehow Mama swivelled 180 degrees while striking the ball perfectly on the half volley. It flew into the top corner. If I remember correctly not only was the goal celebrated by everyone associated with SCFC, but he got a standing ovation from The Fulham players and fans. Even the ref and linesmen walked up to him and shook him by the hand. Apparently replays of the goal can never be replayed on TV as players inferior to Mama (ie everyone) might be so discouraged by his effortless brilliance that they will give up the game.

1.Fuller v Villa (first home game in Prem) 2.Stein v Vale (at Vale Park) 3.Tony Kelly v Liverpool (equaliser at Anfield)
Fullers goal was my favourite ever goal and the best piece of skill I've ever seen from a Stoke player. The other two goals weren't the best technical goals I've ever seen but they make my list for the shear off the scale mentals that they created.

1 Crouchy v Man C - flicks it up to control it then unleashes a volley across Hart into the net.
2 Hoekstra away at Watford - takes it on his chest, back to goal, 25 yards out, spins and volleys it into the top corner.
3 Thordarson v Charlton - extra time, Thordason goes down the left, both teams looking very tired & hits it across the keeper into the top corner from miles out.
