We have some of the most idiotic fans going! To judge someone based on 2 games is pathetic
You don't have a 1:2 goal ration in the Bundesliga if you can't score goals
if your going be wrist slashers at least carry the action out and do us all a favour

You get what you pay for. Now how much did we pay for him? Um Nothing. Says it all really. Really can't see where goals are going to come from this season. So if we had paid the 5 million for him in January that would have made him a better player?

I'm not his biggest fan TBH, in fact I never liked him after he spat at those supporters during a match.
But to say he's crap after only 2 matches is downright stupid.

Without meaning to be rude, the guy can't trap a bag of cement. He looks very clumsy, he looks like an athlete that we have tried to convert to a footballer. I really hop we are not paying him 60k a week for four years as has been reported . After today I'd play Crouch with Moses and Odemwingie off him. Bojan or Adam behind them with Two of our three midfieders behind.

Yes he looked crap today as did Arnie and Odemwingie. To be fair to him though his service was laughable. We showed no flair creation or cutting edge and made next to no chances for the lad. To wright him of after two games though is just as laughable

Every single player has been crap in the first two games. If we cast our minds back, over half the team showed they could perform really well last season, and we have to give it time to gel. We scraped a point today against opponents who should really have exploited our wankness even with 10 men. Let's take it and move on. Before Saturday we could be in the draw for the 3rd round of the league cup. And you never know, Man C might see us play a better game.

Can't start before Crouch. Maybe he comes good but Hughes needs to get real now.
He's going to have to prove he's any use from the bench on the back of his showing so far- his touch looks shocking. Glad we didnt spend 8 million pounds on him whatever he does in the future!

I certainly don't by any Stoke fan with a grain of grey matter. I certainly do, by lots of people, whether they were idiots or not is not my judgement call. No you're wrong pal. He became a instant hit with Stoke fans and was top scorer in his first (and second) seasons. Hardly the stuff of mass criticism.

I think Diouf is one of those players who is never going to look like he is actually any good at football.
So if what you are looking for is control and style and verve and panache and vision you may as well give up now.
But that is not necessarily a show-stopper.
For example Lee Chapman couldn't play to save his life and yet he scored 30 goals in Leeds United's title winning season.
So in short he will never look any good but he still has a chance of proving effective given good service and time.
For that reason I haven't completely given up on him yet.

The point is that if we are to score goals we need to push the boat out and get a real quality top 10 of the premier league type of goalscorer. I just pray he comes good because he's currently a million miles away and unfortunately it doesn't help when so are many others, including Bojan, at this time.

With that shower of shit like nzonzi, arnie etc how the hell is he going get chances. Ive seen enough of arnie to know he's betted than that but I'm still waiting to know what nzonzi brings to supplying a striker.
Diouf needs more time than be judged on them two performances behind him

He looks like a player who's desperate to try and prove he can do it second time round in the prem, i think all he has to do is concentrate and play his natural game and it will come.
The header seemed to me like a nod towards Crouch and a far corner effort but got caught in 2 minds, if he had the chance again he would of probably let it come down and volley it.

I feel sorry for the guy! In his two games so far he's played ST, RW and LW at various points of the games and had absolutely zero service. He needs to play upfront consistently for a few games with some players around him who actually create something for him and I think we will see the real Diouf! Dont write him off just yet.

Give him time.
He had a one-on-one chance early on but the ref inexplicably blew for a foul.
I don't understand how people can knock his performance in the Villa game. The ball spent most of the match being passed between Wilson, Shawcross and Bego. Not sure what he's expected to do with that.

It is only two games, but so far you'd have to say he has been monumentally disappointing. Crouch has to start ahead of him simply based on their contributions to the two "performances" (I use that term very loosely) this season to date. We have a big squad and should pick based on form. Diouf (and Arnautovic as well) deserve to be benched. Maybe give him a game in the midweek cup match in the hope he scores and gets a confidence boost.
