The Chairman sounds like a man who is happy to be relegated. I assumed at the time Palace had appointed him to the end of the season to get them out of the mire. Which he did. This was a one night stand not a marriage made in heaven from the start. Unsurprisingly Palace fans want jam today and not in 20 years and have every right to ask 'where has the Premier League booty gone?' First time they've ever stayed in the Premier League and the chairman is talking about blooding academy players. Parrish is going to have to persuade some desperate, shameless old soak from the managerial merry go round, willing to sacrifice dignity on order to earn a years worth of salary to sleepwalk this lot into relegation, if this really is his strategy.

Parish moaned to anyone who would listen last time that he was shafted on transfer dealings. Sounds like he's done a 360 and wants all the glory this time around on a shoestring. That's why this set up was going to be hard work for both of them second time around. Equally, TP's best signing have come when the pockets are deep and the arms short. I think Palace need Pulis more than Pulis needs Palace.

We've actually gone a few weeks on here without hearing the phrases wankstain/rimmer and to be honest the boards been better for it as it's fucking tedious beyond belief..... Post of the year.

The players will be gutted if this is true. All those Austrian hills covered in pre-season for nothing.

Maybe his strategy is not to throw good money after bad by letting Pulis loose with the chequebook signing more players to play out of position/sit on the bench. Maybe he doesn't have Coates millions and won't indulge him the kind of behaviors he was sacked for here? Whilst the owners here were lucky enough to avoid major confrontation history paints a picture of a petulant and nasty individual who is more than willing to shit on the fans and club they interfere with his agendas

Apparantly the chairman wants to sign Wilf Zaha but Pulis doubts his attitude.

and presumably that's why you've joined in stafford Just dipping my toe. Will now leave it to the mard arses to have a wank fest. And people wonder why the club won't provide extra seats when we have so many mard arsed fickle fans that will fuck off as quick as they returned when the going gets tough. I would rather have a few fans pissed off they can't get tickets now than a half empty stadium when they piss off again when things ain't so good. I think you need anger management,my son!

If Palace had anything about them, they'd get rid of him.
Once he's been smited, we all know what games he plays with his team selections. It'll be the most boring, turgid brand of football known to man until he thinks he's proven his point.
Good luck, Ultra's.

You'd think a career in punditry is just around the corner if he were to leave Palace.
Not that he couldn't get work at another club, I just think he'd like to spend more time in Sandbanks with the Debster. It'd also be nice to have a Stoke pundit on TV as well.

Just remind me wankstains. Was it last year's Premier League manager of the season you confidently told us wouldn't get a job in the Premier League again. Just checking like. ^^^ Amen, brother ^^^ How people can come on here and ridicule the man is beyond me. If he won the Premier League and both Cups with Palace, he's still get jip on here.

I am missing something. Just what relevance does it have to Stoke City fans what TP now does or does not do? How will it affect our team? What is the point of this thread other than to start the Civil War again?
If TP does not like the way his relationship with the Chairman is going, then it is entirely upto TP how he handles it - if that involves him leaving, it will at least be his decision.
