Didn't Rebrov have a bit of a nightmare at Spurs. Not sure he would want that repeated for his mate.

He's not coming so it's back to the drawing board I'm afraid. Hearing Matt Jarvis is having 22nd thoughts and decided Stoke City could quite possibly be his future home. Although, that is only if Lord Mark Hughes hands him the captains armband which seems to be the major sticking point.

I still think Hughes is being so open about Yarmo because he is a smokescreen for another target or targets.

Just stumbled across this from some random fella on Twitter... Hmm. That's a bit random, isn't it? He's just scored in injury time to give Kiev a 2-0 win

Does this suggest there's no manageable buy-out clause then?
Interesting to see what he says in the full interview!

That can't be right surely. Futbolukraine said, repeatedly, that Yarmolenko would only leave for Champions League football and not the likes of us.

Yep - he's claiming it's a direct Yarmo quote (presumably post-match on Ukrainian TV?)

Lovely stuff. I'm just hoping there's a chance of something happening. The full interview will be fascinating and hopefully end it one way or the other.

And it'll be interesting to see how Igor reacts.

So if the president doesn't want him come why the heck did he accept the bid from us anyway.

So if the president doesn't want him come why the heck did he accept the bid from us anyway. He's never accepted the bid though, has he? He's always been pretty consistent that he thinks selling him to Stoke is beneath him and too much of a blow to his ego. We'll see if this public statement from Yarmo moves the goalposts?

I'm probably wrong then pal. I'm sure I read somewhere that they had accepted a 13 million pound bid.

One thing for sure If Spurs do want him they won't pay the release clause Are we sure there is one? It can't be that manageable if we haven't met it? Or maybe Yarmo doesn't want to go that route to engineer an exit?
