Got mine, don't care if its on TV, much rather be there in person, much better atmosphere. Can't wait for this season to get underway. I agree with you but having a mrs and kids & a trip to Germany 2 weeks before I have to be mindfull of cash. I know the tickets are cheap but it could still be a 100 quid day and there is no chance of me getting the death buses from the Brit. :-) Didn't mean my post in any negative way towards anyone else, I know everyone has different circumstances & I respect everyones choices. We're all Stoke fans no matter how many games we attend. Just easier for some than it is for others. I used to go 8-12 away games every year, but last 2 years haven't been able to as work made it impossible. Now I've changed jobs I can start going again .

Seems to me it's a pity having a season ticket every season since 1972 counts for nothing ???????? A season ticket is for home games, where is the relevance? Regular away attendees last season, get a priority for this, a priority that isn't required 95% of the time

The relevance is that I with others went to many many away games over the years - even in the AlanBall era which many of you will thankfully not recall, but I stopped a couple of seasons or so ago because I could not put up with the dirge we were faced with the way Pulis set up his side away from home. Now I am being penalised for failing to go to away games too much over the last 2 or 3 seasons,so my loyalty over many years both home and away counts for nothing, just because I could not abide Pulis tactics.

P.S there are ways around the priority system if you look hard enough and play it right.

How are you being penalised? The chances are you'll get a ticket for virtually all our away games this season if you can be arsed to apply for them.

In those cases you should be standing by the club not just sodding off because you don't like the man in charge or what he's doing on the pitch.

I stand to be corrected but I think Cheadle is saying he's had a season ticket since 1972(?), during that time he's been a regular away follower but dropped off going away for a couple seasons due to poor away performances. Leaving aside the issue of away priority it seems a bit harsh of some to round on the bloke for a lack of loyalty, not sure how you can slate someone who's been a ST holder continuously for 40+ years, seems like he's stood by the club pretty well actually.

Babyeuan,at least one person has understood what i am trying to say in my rather garbled way i suppose. Lakeland I may well be able to obtain tickets for away games, but the rules that have been put in place put me well down the order to obtain them and i do not think that is totally fair. Stafford "for the good times" obviously does not count for the away games in the times when we could not score a goal hardly never mind win an away game in the very poorest of times in the 80's and 90's.Or at least that is my recollection. Boskamps do not ever accuse me of not supporting this club.Even if my away attendances fell off in the Pulis era i never once stopped giving my support

But getting away tickets, as a season ticket holder is easy 95% of the time. What do you want? I too was disillusioned with away games under Pulis, and combined with a difference in personal circumstances, I attended fewer away games last season than in the previous 10 years. However, I still accumulated 110 loyalty points, the priority for Hull was 50. Ticket sales have shown that no priority was necessary. I predict priority will only be an issue for WBA and Burnley - plenty of time to accrue points this season if your circumstances fit. As getting away tickets is relatively easy, there is no 'closed shop' as most of the top prem clubs have. If you want to follow stoke city away from home regularly in 2014/15 you can, so what is the problem? I have only had a season ticket since 1992, but I was only born in 1982. Therefore are you saying I am less entitled than you? Life changes, some years away games are more possible than others. Some years, football had to take a back seat. At Stoke City, if you want to attend every game in 2014/15, you can - just use the system.

80 points for me. The problem with this is my mate went every game last season but his mate got him tickets so he has no or very few points. It wouldn't have been a problem getting tickets on his own card but was just easier for his mate to get them. If he had known the club were going to fuck about with the system he would have got his own. As luck would have it they have left a bit of a get of jail free in the system so tickets won't be a problem but they are tossers for not asking the fans what they wanted or giving more notice of their intentions. Stoke all over though. Getting better on the pitch and total toss off it. And don't even get started on the supporters council.

Have Stoke ever been any good off it?Customer services have always been shite as long as I've been a Stoke fan,and that's not far off 50 years.

Are points awarded for purchase of friendly tickets, say for Blackburn,or is it just league and cup games away?

Are points awarded for purchase of friendly tickets, say for Blackburn,or is it just league and cup games away? According to the official site, neither the Burton or Blackburn away games count towards priority points.
