Played ping pong against Bob Cocker a long, long time ago as well. seem to remember a few venues but Queensbury sticks with me. Indeed. He played for Queensbury. I played for Fenton BC & then Norton. Played for Norton myself, Cricket Club, Bradwell and Burslem...

Can remember being at bolton when the battle of bricks oil drums darts were being thrown through out the game... the moat around the pitch was like a seen out of casualty....thats when the first airing of i do being by the seaside got sung if i remember rightly one hell of a mad day that was
