He's 27 years old. Always has injury problems, can't get in Spurs teams. How much is he worth? Probably around 7m I reckon. Hmm, too much I reckon? Lennon is the type who will have a good six month spell and then be shit for 3 years

Oh. We'll write off what we owe on Palacios then and call it quits.

You must have an immense t-shirt collection. Hows the Pizza? Unfortunately I won't be enjoying Pizza tonight as I'm counting the cals for the moment. Doing the 'Foster' diet requires me to each less than 2K calories per day (Pizza being around 1K). The upside being that I allow myself as much beer as I want.

Telegraph: 14.28Oussama Assaidi’s on-off-off-off-still off-on move to Stoke could now be back on. Assaidi’s wage demands have prevented a permanent deal all summer but the clubs are discussing a loan deal this afternoon. Liverpool want the winger to leave for good, and Stoke are eager to sign him. But with Assaidi seemingly unable to agree a longer-term contract, another temporary arrangement – similar to that took him to the Britannia Stadium 12 months ago – is on the cards.

Would take Assaidi over Sinclair, not Redmond mind.
As I stated at the start of the day, a hunch tells me it will be Assaidi who we will sign.

I would take Lennon over any of them, knowing Levy he will be looking for an outrageous fee, so probably won't happen. Stoke will go for a loan deal with Assaidi if possible

I can't believe that lennon is on less than Assaidi is asking for. I wouldn't mind either of them actually.

TelegraphPersistence pays off for Mark Hughes, who is on the verge of signing Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi on loan for the season.
Hughes has revived his attempts to sign Assaidi due to serious concerns over Peter Odemwingie's knee injury and is close to taking the Morocco international, with Stoke paying a £1million loan fee.
Stoke had also considered Tottenham Hotspur's Aaron Lennon and Manchester City's Scott Sinclair but Assaidi was always the No. 1 option after he impressed on loan last season.
This will also be good news for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers who has been determined to offload his fringe players in a bid to trim his squad.

Last game was Fulham in April - and it's unclear what pre-season he's had, if any?

Yeah saw that too, the story seems to coming out of Liverpool and Stoke are distancing themselves from it.

As great as Assaidi was for us last season, he is not the answer, his crossing is sub-par and he is a one-trick pony. Sinclair is the boy I want to see on the way down, two good feet, can play down the line, cut inside or in behind the target man. He also scores goals. Go and get him Sparky
