I think Mark Hughes has the ability to take on United, but I think his relatively unsuccessful spell at City would count heavily against him.

Everyone complains that British managers aren't good enough, but when the best one around gets handed a poisoned chalice, people want him out of a job within a season.
As an outsidee who couldn't care less about the affairs of Manchester United, I'd like to see him get another 12 months at it.

We'll the other week I close friend of mine was working at a horse racing event and in the owners tent was ferguson and with him as his guest same table our MH . Make of it as you wish After Man City, I think the chances of him going United are slim to none. More than likely he was invited to the tent as a special guest for the horse racing. Nothing more.

If he could have his time again I bet he wished he would have played his best 11 everytime. He changed it every week looking at this player and that to see who he'd keep and let go.
I could have told him who's not good enough before he went in. Look where it's got him.

If they're got any sense they'll take the Peter Coates approach and not the Delia Smith approach.

I feel sorry for Moyes, Fergie knew last season that the only reason they won the title was because of all the infighting at Man City. Fergie left Moyes with a bang average team and he left someone else to take the blame.

As an outsidee who couldn't care less about the affairs of Manchester United, I'd like to see him get another 12 months at it. Sometimes they're palpably not up to the job though. It always seemed too big for him and he'd not really done enough to earn it. People say British managers don't get a chance, but the ones who do well invariably do.

Fergie got out at the right time, excellant manager for winning the title last year with that team. He left Moyes an over-achieving avarage side. Half of those players at Utd would get nowhere near a Chelsea or Man City starting 11.
Stopped taking bets onit now and Giggs is the favorite but feel moyes should get more time. One year is not long enough.

May shit put down on that garbage for years to Come no misfortune is too great .
As for Moyes a decent bloke well out of that steaming pile of shit with its media mates , plastic fans , overrated shit defenders and wheel chair tipping cowards .
May they get the name they crave and may it be the second coming of ofarell and docherty as they Plummet down to the foot of the table . The yanks desert the cash cow and they finally relegated again at stoke one of the very nights at the old Vic

United are paying the price for Ferguson's final act of megalomaniacal vanity in personally selecting / imposing a fellow Scot with zero track record of winning anything or even playing in Europe (as far as can recall) Moyes has been on a hiding to nothing - to manage effectively in Europe you need someone with good experience of and a track record in .......you guessed it ....Europe......neither of which Moyes had.
Ferguson was allowed time to develop on both counts and those days are over and a club of their stature and multinational expectation had to have someone who fitted that bill and could hit the ground running - unfortunately for Prem managers there is very little scope or patience for learning curves.
Pulis would have done no worse than Moyes ;-)

I cant believe how much united fans are slagging off Rooney. Hes one of the very few there that actually look as though they give a fuck & in all fairness to the bloke he looks dead on his feet at the moment. 31 goals hes contributed to this season, 16 goals 15 assists. Without him & De Gea they would be alot lower! Shallow fucks united fans are!

Moyes just looks so shell shocked all the time. Whenever I see the geezer on the touch line he looks like he has a bad case of PTSD. Still can't bring myself to feel sorry for him though.

You can see a physical deterioration in Moyes over the season. He should get out before his hair starts falling out! Giggs = Giles Scholes = Bremner Ferdinand = Hunter

With their squad of (For Man Utd's Standards) average practically mid table players (Other than one or two shining lights) I really can't see how a simple change in manager is going to turn it around for them, also I believe it is going to take alot more than £150 mil to turn them around as well.. The fear factor about them that was there when Fergie was in charge has gone, their star is fading and they don't have the clout of Champions League footy in the transfer window... This is going to take alot longer than most of them twat fans think it is going to take to fix Where is the fingers crossed emoticon? Doesn't need it, they're in the shite/are shite for their standards and its fantastic to watch! They're officially mid table.. Just like us

I think that Giggs has been a part of the problem for Moyes, if I was going in as manager I'd want him and Scholes fucked off out of the club. Spending crazy money on Fellaini was his biggest fuck up though.
Fergie managed to get a good season out of Van Persie in his last year, now he's reverted to his mard-arse, injury prone norm. He's also had Rooney playing up behind the scenes. Fergie left Moyes a turd sandwich.
Hopefully they'll bounce from manager to manager for a few years now being wank.
