Fair play, good result that. 5 wins in a row for them. Definitely the form team in the league. Id be annoyed if they finished ahead of us, what I think is more likely is if we both finish in the top half. Newcastle haven't got a clue at the minute. I think Liverpool are the form team I hate them as well

I was one of the people who really did think it was time for Tony to go, but he did great things for the club and he should be remembered with a degree of gratitude.
He also has done remarkably well at palace and I think he must be manager of the season, that leads to believe the move was both good us and good for Tony.
Palace do look like the one team who could beat us which was unthinkable not 4 weeks ago, how this is not a relevant thread I have no clue.
Some people really do have agendas.

Finishing 9th is all that matters & TP & Palace have no part to play in that.

Who gives a fuck about Crystal Palace? They're a rival of ours in the Premier League, same as Swansea or West Ham. I certainly don't give a fuck how the Hammers are doing or if they go on a good run of form.
I'm a Stoke City fan. The rest can fuck off. We're 10th. I don't care who's below us in the league. I'm looking up, not down.

Some of us never doubted TP, so there! Crying damn shame he wasn't so positive when he was manager of Stoke City FC eh ? Just what I was thinking. He's doing it as a big "Fuck You!" to Stoke. I await a sudden rise in sales of Crystal Palace shirts in Stoke-on-Trent.

It's obvious he's got a bee in his bonnet and his one goal this and every season is to get to 40 points and finish above us. Why else would he keep mentioning us in his interviews every 10 seconds?

I didn't like his "Get In" celebration when Palace scored against us, either. I know he's doing a great job, but I swear some on here want Palace to finish above us!

I'm pleased for Pulis and have no axe to grind with Palace so good luck to them.
But the Pulis at Palace is completely unrecognisable to the one at Stoke in his last 18 months, which in itself is very frustrating given some of their performances on the road especially. The break obviously did him good though as we were stale, dull to watch and heading for The Championship, so not sure why those intent on one upmanship on both sides cannot just agree that the way things have panned out suits all parties.
He may have reinvented himself in the way Holloway did as a purveyor of sexy football, only time will tell I guess. All I know though is last season was bloody hard work, and I didn't see in Pulis an appetite to change things. So in that respect I'm made up he's gone, but happy to see him do well as long as it's not at our expense......

I don't like Pulis, never have. The only thing that will be driving him on at Palarse is getting back at us in any way possible. It's the kind of character he is. The love in for him is getting a bit gay, we need it seriously move on from

Can anyone explain to me why Palace are playing attacking football under Pulis when he spent years of playing anti football at Stoke?
Just watched MOTD and Palace are 1-0 up and they have FIVE men in attack, including the left full back!
How? What?
This is away from home also?

I really dont think that the first thing on Pulis's mind is to "get back at Stoke". I think he wass probably doing his best in the same way as he did with Stoke, but his confidence is flying high and he's probably even surprised himself.
Why shouldn't he want to finish higher that Stoke, same as any other team in the league.

I don't care where palace finish I'm just glad we have improved so much and have a good manager who has got us playing differently. Pulis is doing a great job at palace but only pulls knows why he got it so badly wrong here after the fa cup final. He made a lot of bad decisions.
There will be a lot of pressure in him next season. As a London club most of their fans will expect improvement year on year but there is nowhere they can go really, they can't improve on this season realistically. I suppose the aim could be to make the style of play more attractive?

The mans an absolute Stoke legend.

Pulis has reinvented himself at Palace and is doing a remarkable job
Had he done the same with us he would never left BUT he didn't
The last 18 months were almost unbearable. .stale negative boring dross the atmosphere was dead
Under Hughes we've come alive again and the football is exciting to watch (at times)
Remember as well that Palace are a London club which means they can attract players we could never hope to attract
The destination might be the same for us with both managers but give me the scenic route under Hughes every time.

Since we turned our form around it's meant I can enjoy watching what Pulis has done at Palace. It's been fucking ace. Reckon we'll just stay above them.

It simply serves to reinforce the fact that Pulis' tactics were invariably inept during his last 18 months - his tactics now serve to demonstrate, quite starkly, how poor he was for us at the end. The absolute success he is achieving at the moment must nag at him however - it shows that he well and truly blew it at SCFC. Didn't he say he wanted the job for life? Anyway, fortunately we had PC and the rest is history - as is TP in Stoke - despite his excellent periods in the first three PL seasons.

Value for money and style of play are the crucial factors. Stoke City could not afford players costing £ 10 million and 30 years of age.

He's doing well with a squad someone else built. The trouble may come when he has to buy his own players. But good luck to him, and if he has learned anything from his transfer dealings at Stoke, then there is hope for him.
