What a goal to win the Copa Del Rey
1-1, Madrid under pressure, 86 on the clock, picked it up in his own half and outran a Barca defender OFF the pitch he ran so wide, left him for dead then poked it past the keeper.
Cracking game of footy, made better by an ace ref who just told the diving fuckers to get up all through

Ronaldo's face at the end was a picture. Anyone would have thought he'd lost!

It was a great goal. But him, Benzema and di maria had numerous opportunities to set each other up for tap ins during the match but all of them went for glory. They could have made it easier for themselves if they had just passed the ball.

With a decent centre forward Madrid would be unstoppable - replace the useless (I think he is anyway, made to look good in an ace team) Benzema with say an Aguero/Suarez and they would score a lot more
And thats quite scary!
Agree nobody passes though!

Ronaldo celebrated both goals like a fan, and made a beeline for Bale on the pitch after the game to celebrate and congratulate him Keep your own agenda though

The clip I saw was ronaldo celebrating the first goal jumping up and down, then I flicked over at full time and when the others were going to bale, Ronaldo walked on the pitch with a face like thunder.
No agenda just an observation when I was flicking channels

Not sure if they get on or its just something the media have made up.

Some of the stick he got early on was way over the top. There's often a settling in phase when players move overseas. Especially British players.

No agenda just an observation when I was flicking channels I didn't see that, but I've cringed many times this season as Bale has desperately tried to congratulate Ronaldo, only for Ronaldo to avoid looking him in the eye as if that might concede some psychological edge in their power struggle. Pair of absolute pillocks. If I played for Real Madrid, I'd celebrate each Ronaldo or Bale goal by running to the corner flag on my own and doing a Kevin Nolan chicken dance. See how they like that.

Great goal but if he had done it against us Whelan would have made sure he stayed off the pitch

Shades of him burning off Maicon against Milan that time. Fair play to him, stepping up when it matters.

Saw a BBC headline talking about Bale's "wonder goal" so was somewhat underwhelmed when I saw it. Basically he just ran very fast and then got a toe poke under the keepers body.
Don't get me wrong it was a very good goal, but I was expecting something like Ryan Gigg's goal against Arsenal in that FA Cup semi final a few years ago.
Now that was a wonder goal!
