Carpslayer - We're doomed.
I never said it's all tickety boo, but I just don't get this incessant and excessive criticism of the Club.
I don't want you to stop, it's highly entertaining, but I like to think about....
Man City at the Brit, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Everton at the Brit.. {even Newcastle 1st half, Birmingham away {finding the net}}
not Norwich, Goodison, Selhurst or White Hart Lane.
We've shown the 'potential', the football this bunch are capable of quite a few times this season.
It's the management's job to unlock that potential on a more regular basis.
We've been pretty good since xmas. I'm proud of what we've had, and confidant in what we've got, and where we're going.
I'm a big fan of Arnie, Pieters, and Odemwingie, even Assaidi has got the pulse racing at times... Butland is mint..
Pennant's exit appeared swift, clinical and dignified, and finally getting the dreaded Jones out of our hair, plus dosh etc was one of the whiliest bits of business I've seen.
I'm ok with the dealings so far.
On the whole.

I would imagine there was only time this season when Palace fans were happy.
It was when they realised that, after looking certainties for relegation, Tone came along and actually gave them a chance of staying up.
It has echoes of some Stoke fans believing that we wouldn't survive in the Prem for more than one season, then turning on the bloke who kept us up for far longer.

So far my happiest time as a paying Stoke fan was under the capped one. Crouchie and the playing staff dont get payed to be happy. |
