They'll be OK, let's see if they're still moaning after he's spent £94m strengthening his squad.

+1 I doubt there is any other man on the planet capable of keeping that group of players up. The squad he inherited, at Palace, wouldn't look out of place in the Skrill premier league. Also, what an incredible atmosphere at Palace yesterday - remember when we used to get those And now he's started spending money they look worse. Sounds familiar? £100 million, built nothing, new manager has to start again, no youth talent.... Never mind, we surrendered a Cup Final and presitge European Cup tie. How many cup finals have Stoke been in, since we were formed: if memory serves me right that would be none until the arrival of Pulis, our side was decimated by injury and we put a decent fist of it considering who we were playing. Also we won our first European tie in our history under Pulis and qualified out of the group stages, which included 2 teams that had been in the champions league the year before. I travelled to Valencia and cant remember us surrendering to them, neither in Valencia or at the Brit - far from it. Show some appreciation for the man that rebuilt your club and put Stoke back on the map.

5 pages about someone who is no longer involved in our club. SMH. All the usual suspects are present. That's because they've hijacked another thread. The story was that Palace fans aren't happy yet the last number of pages are just the same old recycled bollocks over those incapable of taking a story in isolation. Over the last couple of years, we've had similar threads for pretty much every team who have gone on to sack their manager and it appears that is fine...but we can't say anything about Palace because of 'you know who' and those at both ends of the scale are as bad as the other. It was posted as a dig at Mr Pulis as usual. People moan and say the so called rimmers should move on yet 99% of posts about Mr Pulis are started by the so called haters because they are so desperate to see him fail. I find it sad and funny as fuck in equal measure.

I'm not particularly fussed either way, although I got very frustrated with what happened last year.
To be fair, it's nice to see how he fairs out of interest sake, much like I did with Macari when he left (although I felt sadder that Lou decided to go). It's pretty bemusing that so much vitriol is spewed forth between people to this day! The only thing that interests me is if Pulis will keep his relegation record intact.
I'm all for following Hughes as our present manager and generally like what he is doing so far.......

Was going to mention the two Autoglass finals as well - I think he has a case of selected memory!! I was ready for TP to go - like the majority, but quite why you would not be able to show gratitude to a man who did so much for your club is a bit baffling(regardless of the type of football played) - each to his own though The numerous semis you refer to - I can only remember 2 in the 70's re the FA cup and 3 in our entire history. We can however blame Pulis for the not qualifying for the autoglass again, had he not been here I am sure we would have had many more attemps at winning that coveted trophy

I was really pleased when Pulis got the sack but damn do I still respect the guy.
Just because we don't like him doesn't mean we don't respect him.
I wish him all the best apart from when its at the expense of Stoke.

Pulls was a legend at stoke and the unity he brought to the club got us to where we are now. I am glad he went because his time had come but how any stoke fan can not be gratefull of what he acheived is beyond me. I am not a Hughes fan but he is doing ok and needs more time and I hope he can bring the success tony brought in his good years at stoke I was at wembly and Valencia. After Valencia I said to some younger people enjoy because it may be along time before we get the chance to go such a wonderful place like Valencia and to a wembly final people have short memories. He will piss the palace fans off in the end but there is no one better to get them out of relegation than tony.
