His job is keep them in the Prem and he's give them a chance when everyone thought they were doomed good luck to Tone but if its a choice between Stoke and them i hope he fails. If this is the case why do managers bleat when they get the bullet? Surely there is more to football than 40 points? Not all managers bleat. In fact a certain Mr Pulis was actually quite complimentary about his former employees. Not that he was sacked of course.

Agreed mainly the season ticket holders in his last two seasons of dross. Or maybe we just like to support the club through the not so good times as well? What a bunch of bellends we really are. Taxi for Hughes! Great support that is.You got the last bit right.

Like him or his appointment or not, I still have a season ticket this season and will renew for next. People hated Mr Pulis whilst he was here but they still went and supported the club.

Of course he wasn't sacked he left of his own free will with bags full of money damaging the clubs finances further , and then proceeded to be complimentary about his former employers (not his employees by the way) well how magnanimous of him, fuck me what a hero he is.

I can only assume that because there are 4 pages of Pulis related thread that everyone contributing wouldnt mind if our Tone returned to his spiritual home.

Lol, and when people have a go at Pulis you spit your dummy out, but it's OK for you to slaughter Hughes 'because you support the club/team'. Behave yourself.

Yes we did but the number who did was in decline, that was not because they did not support the club but because lost faith in Pulis and his style of football, this was part of the reason he was shown the exit door, he was stubborn pig headed and it was his way or the highway hence he left on the highway, I was not enthralled by Hughes appointment by any stretch of the imagination but things had to change if we were to survive financially after Pulis wasted millions.

Pulis won't give a shit what palace fans put on a message board. His main priority is keeping a team that was destined for the drop in the premiership. And as it stands he's doing that. And still is destined for the drop

That's not relevant. You were praising yourself for supporting the ex manager through the tough times, why aren't you doing the same with the current manager?

We really have missed the opportunity to have a big argument about TP, haven't we? Bloody hell, someone posts a few made up statements on a fictional messageboard and everyone just can't wait to pile into each other again. It's been too peaceful for too long!

Because the employers (and a lot of fans) believed change was needed to move forward. I guess??? Move forward - to what? I thought 40 points and PL survival was the be all and end all? I never said it was. I think it was right to move him on. I also think he did a lot of good things at Stoke and it's a bit sad to go on and on about the bad things. I'm happy to focus on. Hughes and the future but I can't help but get annoyed when he gets unreasonably slated. I mean, seriously, Palarse fans complaining??!!?? If he keeps him up they should knight the fecker.
