It's taken slightly longer than I predicted but it was always going to happen.
His football is horrible to watch 99% of the time so he will always have his knockers.
I still think they will get relegated then we'll see some fireworks.

Actually, I've just popped onto the Palace board out of sheer curiosity and I haven't found any such comments. Then I found this post on a thread on the front page: 'This is Pulis' record since he arrived; Tony Pulis W7 D1 L8 That form, if carried on over an entire season, would see us finish on 50+ points so it's clear he's currently overachieving. By contrast, here is how three of the other contenders for the job have got on since they found clubs; Aitor Karanka W6 D6 L6 Pepe Mel W0 D4 L3 Rene Meulensteen W3 D2 L9 Clearly Karanka's record is the only one even close and the pre-season expectation for Middlesbrough in their respective league was far higher than ours was. So performance wise he is undoubtedly up there with the best in the league. Having said that, I don't really think you can compare someone managing a club trying to scrap for points to stay up with with someone like Mourinho who is expected to win the league. It's like a totally different job and David Moyes is an example of someone who can be fantastically successful at a certain level over a long period of time and then struggle after making the step up in size.' Asides from that, there's just the usual stuff you get on a messageboard after losing a game while in a relegation scrap. Some hysteria, some cool heads, throwing blame at everyone who has anything to do with the club. There is a thread on there entitled 'embarrassing' - but it's aimed at supporters who sing nasty songs at opponents.  I suppose the big question is why does it matter to some supporters whether or not the supporters at his new team like him or not? |

Matty was finished long before the departure of your idol, why was he not replaced by your idol, Hughes has been left with a poor ageing expensively assembled squad with very little financial backing compared to our last manager, this could well end up in tears for Stoke however a lot of the blame should not be attached to Mark Hughes. |

I was critical of pulls but if palace fans are moaning then they're a bunch of thick, ungrateful cunts. They have the worst squad I've ever seen in this division and he's performed miracles there. His tactics are necessary at palace as they were here for a few years and there is no one better to bring in to keep them up, as he's shown. They have a nightmare rUN in and I have a feeling they may still go down, but pulis gave them a fighting chance.
