One thing they have right is that we are making fools of ourselves on this thread. We know what happened that day and we know that Ryan Shawcross meant no harm and that it may not even have been the tackle that caused the injury. The so called supporters on here have gone into some kind of mass hysteria. Grow up.

97th minute, the game dead with the score at 3-1 and Fabregas produces an aggressive, two footed lunge from behind on a player going nowhere with the ball. He made no attempt to disguise the fact that he fully intended to injure the player and to this day it is the single worst 'tackle' that I've ever seen on a football pitch. Scum.

The thing is, when I'm in a bad mood I actually do look a bit like a cross between Grant Mitchell and an 'Orc'.
I wonder if I will be in a bad mood at the weekend?

How come, when Vieira kicked out at groin height against Manchester United he got sent off, but when he did it for Man City against us and actually made contact with Whelan, he got Alan Wiley laughing and joking with him?

This is the only time I would ever fully back a man utd player. How Keown can criticise us for being physical is beyond belief.

Double standards...... Viera does enjoy kicking groins doesn't he.....suppose it's from his Arsenal roots.

Wish I could be there, but will have to wait for the West Ham game for my next pilgrimage to the Brit.
One of my favourite moments in recent years was before the home game v. Arsenal in spring 2011 (beat the barstards 3-1), we were at The Harvester havinga pint before the match and this bloke walks in wearing a T-shirt with Wengers picture on it. The pub goes totally silent - he then turns around and show us the writing on the back: "Waanker", and the pub explodes in laughter.

Laterst instalment of the Ramsey saga.Edit: I see this has been covered on the Arsenal thread. Sorry. I'll levae it up but no probs if admin delete it.

It's from ages ago, I think it was a back cover. They're very upset by it though, which is adorable.

I know that even some of our own supporters will think I'm a puzzled cunt but I've got to say what I believe. The incident was actually a foul on Shawcross by Bendtner. It's rich that there's always a debate about intent, yet people overlook Bendtner's intentional foul on Shawcross that slows him down, both forcing Shawcross to have to adjust his feet (which induced the clumsiness of his challenge) and also allowing Ramsey to get to the ball first. If Bendtner hadn't made his double-swipe professional foul against Shawcross then Ramsey's leg wouldn't have broke, hell, there would've been more chance of Shawcross's leg breaking!?

Shawcross went through an already broken leg. But you are right....why let facts cloud Wenger and the media....after all....we are just a bunch of thugs ruining the beauty of english football..... ...twats. I conner wait till Saturday. This, sadly, is the only game that really gets me going any more (I remember loads like this when we first went up....)

I often wonder whether the ref's decision not to blow for the Bendtner foul was because: a) he didn't see it, b) he didn't deem it to be a foul, or c) because he was waiting to see if we gained any advantage. Whatever the reason, it was a decision with profound consequences for two young players.
