Awful performance - thankful for the point. Definitely. We were far from our best tonight against a Swansea team that outpassed, outpressed and outpaced us all over. A good point.

Awful performance - thankful for the point. Exactamundo. They countered the wind by positive running and good passing. We looked like a pub team in the second half. Good to get to the lay off with a 5 point run on the board though. Not that it should last long

Too many home draws could come back to haunt us.
Glad to have the point in the end, but winning games seems very difficult for us at the moment.
With City and Arsenal the next two games, I think things will start to get worse before they hopefully get better.

Got lucky. A precious point. They should've won easy. And would have but for Ryan.

Disappointing performance after the last two matches... But still got a point. If we can keep a 3 point buffer to the bottom 3 all season I'll be happy enough this season.

They will be happier with a point than we are - But, we are luckier to be getting that point! In the end we went 4-2-4 to try and get something, but we looked very disjointed tonight. Often chasing shadows when they had it and unable to get much going ourselves. We have Ryan and Beggo to thank for the point (and some poor play/finishing for them). Still, a point is better than nowt - But not as good as the three we wanted Given the two games to come, that is not satisfactory. We remain 14th. 3 points above the drop but games in hand below us and our next two games look "challenging". Going to go right to the wire. Can't say the wind had too much of an effect on the game - But hope everyone gets home safe. Excellent summing up there.

Hughes should watch a video of that game to see the pass and move play from Swansea….their passing was so much crisper and sharp.
Dunno how we can go from so committed and 'up for it' over the last few games to that dross….
POOR STOKE - VERY POOR

Very disappointing, lucky to get a point. Thank goodness for Bego and Ryan.
Swansea will be ruing a missed opportunity to break away from the relegation fight.

Undefeated in last 3 with a couple of bonus games coming up what's not to like. Fixtures in March is where it's at. Swansea were always going to be difficult especially on the back of their win against Cardiff. Happy with a point. Keep the Faith.

Poor Stoke, poor wilson in the first 10 minutes. Guidetti Near Crouch is totally losted! I think he has to play near the midfield. We have to pass better and score the 2nd in the first half. With 2 0 in the 2nd half we will only have to defend. AMAZING shawcross, 10/10 performance for me. I think if he doesn't go to a bigger team this year, he will stay at Stoke forever.

No one said t was going to be a straight road , one win in 9 is the big concern. think its down to Fulham ,Stoke ,Cardiff , Norwich , WBA ,Sunderland now so 3 from 6 , Personally think fulahma nd cardiff will be 2 and looking at Norwich last 4 games our task is to be above them going into those 4

Swansea were always going to be difficult especially on the back of their win against Cardiff. Happy with a point. Keep the Faith. This. Not a great performance tonight but I think that Swansea deserve a lot of credit for that. They looked very good and under Monk they'll be a decent side. Their two wingers, especially Dyer caused us lots of problems. On the other hand, we looked disjointed and a bit lethargic. 3 pts would have been nice but the 1 could be crucial at the end of the season. We are beginning to find a way to pick up points in an ugly fashion again and that's encouraging, if our performances are a little inconsistent sometimes! Man City is a bonus game and at home to Arsenal you never know, given our record against them and the other big boys at home but... our season will be decided in March. Norwich (A), West Ham (H), Villa (A) and Hull (H). Anything less than 9 points could see us struggle but until April, I will reserve judgement. Could be worse and if we survive (which we should do), we should go from strength to strength next season, if Hughes gets the summer to build the team that he wants. Work in progress, which we already knew anyway!

This is bollocks. We'd completely lost control of midfield, they were battering us. He came on and we were more solid in the middle. And past the ball backwards when we had an attacking front line on the pitch. Unlike the rest of the team, who aimlessly hoofed it forwards, he kept the ball. Also, and maybe this is just a coincidence, before he came on they seemed to be cutting through our midfield almost at will. But that stopped afterwards....

Norwich are screwed if they're still down there in April. Anybody else could end up in there too. Looking at the run in, I'd say Fulham, Norwich and Cardiff. But anything can happen!
