For a lad who's not played a competitive (not Reserve) game of football in nearly 2 years, I thought he played some alright passes. Probably a glimmer of positiveness in a game full of shit.

You can't possibly gather anything from his 10 minute performance so who knows?

Whilst it is very difficult to garner a reasoned opinion from 10 minutes, he looked better than the shower of shit that is called the rest of our team.

He had his head looking at goal and went for a volley but was crowded out' more than you could say others did in the 80' odd minutes they featured' more game time for me and he'll knock em in. Natural goal scorer.

Cant believe he didn't bring him on earlier. If he doesn't start ahead of Walters in the next game then something is wrong, he provided more in 10 mins that super john did in 80 mins.

He could have a foot amputated and still do a better job than Walters.

Guidetti interview.
It is understandable that i started on the bench today, i have only had two trainings. I think Gareth Bale started on the bench in his four first games. It will take some time, but i know i will score here too. My body feels amazing, i feel sharp. But it will take some games to match training, i have just returned from a long time injury.
He comments on his chance he had in the game to score. - It could have gone in the goal but a defender deflected it. I cant do it faster then that, take it down on the chest, then shoot with the left foot, it was the only thing i could do.
Then he comments on the end of the game. - It feels shit to be honest. It is frustrating in my head. If i could have had 10 more minutes, i can almost promise i would have scored. It got stressful at the end. No real football. Up with people in attack and try with headers then you have to hope that the ball lands in the right places. That is nothing i want to do, i want to play football.

Hmmm interesting comments, could be read as a slight dig at the manager even......although probably more his command of English if your post is a actual transcript of the words he used. His attitude to the game sounds promising, though, and I think that unless he was carrying a niggle he should have been given more time, afterall we weren't creating anything before he came on, anyway.

Like most people I guess, I watched him intently when he came on and thought he had a few nice touches and an air of someone who looked comfortable, although I guess he was very nervous.
BUT I was at the Arsenal v. Liverpool Cup Final in 71 and watched a player intently and thought "What an idle sod you are George, just jogging between penalty spots letting all you team mates do all the work". A few minutes later he slammed the ball in the net and was awarded the Golden Boot. Shows what a judge of footballers I am!

He is a (Swedish) footballer afterall! I like that he can almost promise he would have scored................almost a solid commitment but not quite. Here's hoping he can do a James Beattie for us and hit the ground running........I'll drink to that..in fact I already am
