Just watching the rerun and the WBA / Newcastle game, how on earth does Krul stay on the pitch having taken down a WBA player in the penalty area?
Consistency is all we want!!!!!!!
Tim Howard and Everton must be amazed too

Favouritism. Same with the Spurs goalkeeper too. If, and I say if, that had been a Stoke keeper, he would have been sent off! Two offside goals in two other games, and a perfectly good goal disallowed in another. The whole refereeing system needs overlooking. Also. Never mind this goal line technology, let,s have video evidence. As I,ve said many times on here, I,ll sit there all day to see a fair result. But we,ll never get it!

Because the ball is heading away form goal so it is a yellow card, not favouritism just the directive to referees

Hi JeyCov
Happy New Year to you.
Having a journey back last night and teeming rain all the way, I watched that and thought that Krul should have gone to be honest. Lloris should also have been booked for that and a penalty given as he did catch Young.
As I said on the Howard Webb thread the other day after Chelsea/Liverpool game all I want is consistency.
I suppose there is some form of consistency from them individually, Atkinson gives penalties whereas Webb looks and waves his arms to say NO WAY!
We were listening to the commentary driving back and although it did not show it on MOTD, Smalling apparently clearly handballed in the area and Spurs should have had a penalty as well!

The Smalling incident, the ball hit his thigh and bounced up against his hand. Some will still say they've seen em given but it would be ridiculous to say it was a blatant handball.

Because the ball is heading away form goal so it is a yellow card, not favouritism just the directive to referees Correct. But if you take that argument all the way surely the ball would end up in the net every time unless the keeper gets the ball too
