Just read this at the Sentinel page. By the way, I must reserve a special mention for those Swansea supporters who hurled bricks at our official disabled supporters' coach on the way from the ground. Thankfully no windows were broken and we all got home safely. Shocking

Let's hope that the police become involved and the culprits are caught and banned from all football grounds.
It is unfair to tarnish Swansea "fans?", or indeed those "attached " to any other football club (including our own) after this sort of behaviour.
They are in the minority.
Thankfully no one has been injured after what has been quite a nasty incident

Is this 2013 or is it 1974? i thought it was funny. it was just a joke that changed the meaning of the sentence. certainly not discriminatory or anything. Also, cowardly actions from the fans responsible. Hopefully they are caught and banned for a long, long time.

Ye just to add a bit of perspective, obviously it is terrible behaviour but I remember that a junior royals coach got bricked at The Brit after a 0-1 defeat to Reading in their Championship winning season, so those in glass houses and whatnot.

It's a pity it isn't 1974 , people had a broader sense of humour and didn't take life too seriously. A smashed window or face is just as painful whether you are disabled or able bodied....and that goes for the bus too. Anyone remember Stoniers Buzzes...all of them were poorly.!!

I remember them but never in fact used one. However, I did use Beresford's once or twice. They were the "living" definition of a poorly bus. About eight or ten of us (I guess we were about 14) went to Leeds on a Beresford's in about 1973 - probably doubling the total number of passengers. The driver was late picking us up after the game and we had an uncomfortable 20 minutes or so avoiding the Leeds urchins in their monkey boots, wandering up and down outside Elland Road, looking to pick off any stragglers. Now that was when an away trip really WAS as an away trip.

Did the coach only have 3 wheels or something else wrong with it? Maybe they thought it was the team coach.

Hang on Mumf, I have got a sense of humour and unlike some of the very fine gentlemen on this thread, i've not been having a pop at Stafford or anyone else. I've not been judging, or criticising when someone doesn't share my opinion either. I've just said how it made me feel. No big deal. What's the problem?

'Disabled coach' means exactly that, a disabled coach. Technically the thread shoulda read, 'Coach for disabled supporters bricked at Swansea' but I'm not one to split hairs but I can't see what's so wrong with Stafford's joke either.

Nothing to see here Uhm, I didn't mean for my post to come out like that but can see why it maybe did. What I meant to say was that vilifying Swansea City FC as the result of the actions of a retarded minority, of which we have more than our fair share, would be inappropriate.

Have to say, as a disabled supporter it made me laugh my tits off But if any other disabled supporters have a prob, let me know and I'll delete of course. As for the bricking, just totally totally out of order. Good one Sue for making everyone aware of this, I trust there'll be official complaints from the club already.

Technically the thread shoulda read, 'Coach for disabled supporters bricked at Swansea' but I'm not one to split hairs but I can't see what's so wrong with Stafford's joke either. Well strictly speaking it's an able-wheeled coach for supporters with disabilities but that might be a bit of a mouthful
