Oh keep yer fuckin pants on....it's going to take time to settle down and it's early days. No way was that the worst performance, it wasn't great in many respects but it isn't the worst. Give it 15 more games and the January transfer, then we will see where we're at.

oh hark at this seasons cheerleader supreme - such a turnaround The thing is mustard today was one poor game, the vast majority of supporters last season had had enough of abject performance after abject performance. If it carries on, doom monger away, but at least give it a chance. I don't doom monger either way. Just seemed very hypocritical for you to start slinging the mud of patience and understanding.

Why's that then I was patient with tone, but enough was enough last season. There were even ardent "rimmers" turning last year such as the shite we endured.

We were crying out for pace today and for someone to make a few runs into the box. Assaidi has to start for me next week.

What I couldnt fathom out was when Cameron had the opportunity to cross, he would check back, pass inside to the next player, who would in turn pass to Nzonzi and then out wide to Pieters on the left Not ONCE did Cameron take on the fullback. This gave the Norwich midfield AND defence timt to reset, pick the runs off and inevitably the attack would lose it momentum. A confidence thing perhaps?
Getting the early crosses in - this would be something for Hughes to work on thru the week.
The one thing defenders HATE is running towards their own goal and trying to clear their lines.

You tend to see a knee jerk thread like this every time we have a poor performance. Granted it was bad but it wasn't the worst since promotion I honestly can't think of any worse home performances mate, and I haven't missed many games. I can't remember every single home game since promotion but I am sure this wasn't the worst. One that stands out for me is last season against Aston Villa.

If we'd lost at West Ham but won today, the reaction would probably be very different.
I agree it was very disappointing, almost impossible to select a MOTM (amazed that it was given to Cameron) Ireland for me.
Expectations were high after an excellent game v Man City - the bottom line is, however well / poorly we play we need a goalscorer URGENTLY. Not sure if there is anyone out there out of contract at this moment in time.
I do believe that MH will be prepared to give others a chance, dropping some of the more disappointing players .
In particular, Wilson and Adam had poor games Assaidi and Ireland to start in the next game for me.
Fulham away next , we can get something from that

As nanna said in the Catherine Tate show..what a load of shit. For some reason KJ once picked regularly goes into a coma . Adam great going forward(sometimes) shit defending. We need 2 up front and two quick wide men. Assaidi,Pennant in, Arnie up front or just behind Crouch who with the ball to feet which we are trying to play may work in a 4411. And today the enthusiasm went right out the window...very slack.

We were woeful that day I agree, but on that day we at least had the nous to create a goal, and I thought we would go on to score another until, Villa scored on the counter. Today we created nothing, and frankly I don't think we would have scored if we played another 90mins. I really Don't remember a worse performance, hopefully just a blip.

It was nowhere near the worse. It wasn't even the worse this year. It was poor. But at least we tried to attack. We did have a few half chances and definite pen turned down. FFS we need to give Hughes time. I agree with last sentance - 1 bad game so far (today) -. I cant agree with the rest what half chances were them then? The one where Jones fell over (seen that before) from the 1 good cross of the 1st half,erm....thats it. Arnie hammered one over in the 1st half & Ruddy had nothing but the most rudimentary of saves to make. & what penno? whne Jones fell over in the 2nd half? edit: sorry to single out your post but there you go.

Has been for years. We win and everything is brilliant. We lose and everything is shite. Can't see any positives. It was definite pen on Kenwyn. The defender grabbed him and pulled him down. Sky definitely thought so and they couldn't understand why it hadn't been given - it was that blatant. There were several half chances: when Kenwyn rode a number of challenges before going too wide to get a decent shot off. Ryan had 2 or 3 chances from close range from set pieces that he should have got on target. FFS sake I said HALF chances. Stop peddling a petty agenda because your upset and actually look at what happened.

I would say villa at home over the Christmas period (can't remember what season) was as close to walking out as i have come, but today was a very close second. I don't think the 'fans' will take many more games like today.

Even though we scored two against Wigan, I have never left a ground that angry before. The night the players said "fuck You" to the manager. Horrific.

We're trying to change and with it patience is needed, that's why I think the booing is particularly disgraceful. Get upset about it on here because it was dreadful but booing them when they're trying something different isn't the way forward. It will close the players up and make them scared to make mistakes if they try something. And after all the initial good work that being pissed down the drain on one or two performances is beyond pathetic.

The problem appears to be, that he can't (or won't ) trust his left foot, and is therefore limited with options when he cuts in. He has tried a couple of flicked crosses with the outside of his right boot when checking back, but they don't come off too often. We definitely need more pace to our attacks. As good as the passing style could be, it's just too slow at the moment and enables opponents to get 8 or 9 men back behind the ball. Nobody seemed to want to take responsibility to drive the team forward today, in fact our best forays forward seemed to come from Shawcross and Pieters running at the Norwich midfield with the ball. I thought Pieters was our MoM today, despite the unfortunate ball in face incident! However in that performance as a whole , being MoM isn't saying much! Let's hope for better, and to pile more pressure on Jol, next week.
