Yes, I had a text and email as well. I had just come to the conclusion that it would be the Plat+ pack. Glad it is with DPD - up here they always seem the best of the couriers at time keeping on their deliveries. If tomorrow's text says the parcel will be delivered between 10:00 and 11:00 chances are it will be with me by 10:15. I'm sure the driver actually arrives early and parks up about a mile from my house!

I had the text/e-mail too, and my conclusion was that it must be Plat+.

Lakeland, you mention "no Steele or Franklin". But they featured on the beautiful box cover and I wondered how many on here recognised them, or indeed saw all of them play?
Neil Franklin was playing on my first trip to the Vic, when I was enthused for life. Ah, the memories us oldies have...... Which reminds me, wonder how Old Stokie is doing, these days?

My DPD delivery driver is called Stevie. He is currently in Keswick (6 miles away) on delivery number 16 - I am delivery number 25. The original time slot was between 11:39 and 12:39 - the latest estimate is that he is 45 minutes away so I should see him at about 12:00! I am enjoying looking at the interactive Google Map showing my cottage and Stevie's little van as it moves around Keswick. This is all very exciting - GOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN STEVIE!

So, basically what you are saying Monica, is that Neil Franklin took one look at you and said to himself "Bugger this, I'm off to Bogota"

I understand that they have used Sheikhmomo's chest size as the default for people who did not respond. I've no idea if he is the same size as you so I don't know if this is good or bad news.

In the late 70s I played in the half holiday league for Keele Park, Neil turned out for Social services I think he was in 50s+ and still was brilliant.I also played with Albert Leake when he was in his fiftys and he was not bad.I was not a bad player but these ex pros were that much better even 30years older.
