It is indeed a great photo. Thanks for sharing it.
I must have been at the game, but (as ever) I have no recollection. It's the sort of picture you used to see routinely in those football annuals - very popular at Christmas. Not that action like this doesn't continue to take place - it does - but technology seems largely to have sidelined the photograph. That's a pity, because a still like this simply oozes movement, athleticism, bravery and atmosphere in a way somehow a video cannot. Rose tinted specs, perhaps.
The real question, however, is how many Rolexes did Bucks sell as a result of that advertisement. I would say quite a small number - although my research on this important subject is admittedly rather limited.

Ah Chawners of Hope Street my favourite clothes shop. The only one stop shop for Levi's, Ben Sherman, Two tone tonics, loafers, braided jackets and of course Crombies Coats. Bliss.

I thought this was going to refer to the FA Cup tie in the late 70's when we were 2-0 up with both goals from him before it was abandoned at half time due to an ice bound pitch. In true Stoke style we battered them in the rematch and got beat 0-1. Bugger.
