As for the event.. Celtic fans get a lot of stick, only fair to praise them for the effort for this match!

What a sorry and sad place this world has become. The attitude of these utterly silly girls makes me want to throw up. And this guy ( whoever he is) should be really ashamed of himself for throwing up after an innocuous challenge like that beeeeerrrhghhghhgh What an old fart you sound! "utterly silly girsl" throwing themsleves at pop stars is hardly a new thing; nor are manufactured pop bands. Anyway back to the "football", as usual the media coverage misses what really happens. The tackle wasn't what did for the boy; it was a lung busting run he tried a few minutes beforehand when he got caught up field and ran half the length of the pitch as fast as he could to catch up with Agbonlahor. He failed of course, but it knackered him. He was still recovering (or trying and failing to do) when he got knocked over. Actually I feel sorry for the boy.I guess he is much like us in one regard that all of us I'm sure would love to play football in front of 60,000 people. He clearly loves his football, supports his local tema so he ain't a glory hunter, but he made an arse of himself! Ah well, onto more serious maters. Which reminds me what happened to that entertaining thread yesterday about cyclists getting knocked off their bikes... . A lung busting run !!!! What a joke !!! If I sound like an old fart you sound like a real clown

i'd love to say it was even a hard challenge but it wasn't even that to be honest. love how he still manages to continue to do his hair in his moment of pain. as for fans of pop artists, they are total psychos and are a danger not only society but themselves. seriously, when justin beaver spat over his balcony onto his fans, they just screamed more because they had his saliva on them. complete and utter psychos.

BTW you shouldn't take the old fart comment as pejorative; it's meant to be friendly. But I guess you did take the huff which would make you an easily offended old fart... or a fud. Probably the latter.

They should all be sectioned under the mental health act. They're clearly not well. But then again I think puberty will sort a few of them out.

In about 30-40 years time we should just be coming up to the next big story as all the manufactured boy bands finally reach that point where their 're-union' and 'comeback' tours have finished and they're finally done and it starts coming out how all those years ago they took advantage of under age female fans. With the odd one or two even having a few boys thrown into the mix.
Given how fanatical and mental their fans seem to be, there must be some who have gotten close and made the offer - or been coerced, not just to the lads from this group but others as well, and odds are one or two will have gone ahead with it.

Will all the fans who have made death threats be investigated by the police? I thought this was now an offense? Or does it only count if its a threat made against a woman?

Fair play to the kid. Simon Cowell & Co killed music long before One Direction came along so you can hardly blame the kid for taking the opportunity he's been given.
And I'm sure Agbonlahor is really shitting himself at the thought of a bunch of 12 year old girls coming after him.

Threatening to kill someone is probably OK. If they'd used racist language however there'd have been swat teams descending on every brownie pack in the country.

I'd be more worried if fans of Abonglahor sent threats to One Direction

The police should be made to investigate and prosecute. If i threatened to kill someone id get grief im sure. It takes the piss and they need a reality check. Online bullying is such a hot topic, why not make an example of them?
