Even as he went off on a stretcher with gas and air, it was a nothing tackle!

Cazorla also repeatedly kicked the ball away almost every time Spurs got a free kick when he was involved but there was no yellow card - wonder what would happen if one of our team did that ?

Fair enough, I've took some nasty tackles in the past n never broke a bone but seen one lads leg snap in 3 places just when he changed direction!!!! Its a funny old game.

It is indeed, usually ligament damage can be done with innocuous stuff but this did just look like a twisted ankle at most. Hope he gets better asap.

Apparently Etienne Capoue has broken his leg. Is that true? Would be brilliant if it is

It's fair to say that they are a bunch of two faced cunts. Alan Davies, Piers Morgan, I rest my case.

The worst tackle of the weekend was when Flamini launched himself into Danny Rose with both feet off the ground. Potential leg breaker!

I am actually speechless. They absolutely slate to this very day not only ryan, but our whole club and our supporters because of an unfortunate tackle from a completely innocent, young player. even though ryan , the club and us as supporters wished him well.
At no point did anyone at our club, either laugh, nor celebrate the injury. Everybody wished him well in his recovery until he turned into a bitch and cried about it to the media for the best part of four years.
Unlike these two faced, classless, scummy bastards. What a disgrace of a club. I cannot even begin to contemplate the complete and utter hypocrisy and lack of class.
Do they realise what wankers they are? I hate that club so much it's engraved into the very fabric of my soul with arsing whinger's blood.
Piss off you complete and utter bell ends!

Arsenal only exist to fulfil their narrative purpose, specifically to be the seemingly unassailable evil empire that need vanquishing.

In sport to rejoice at the breaking of an opponents leg is just about the lowest of the low. I occasionally feel sorry for arse fans and the way their club openly rapes them, but then i read comments such as above and i kind of understand why the club fucks them over so royally.. because they are TWATS.

They're nothing short of a DISGRACE. Wonder what Wenger's reply would be if asked about some of their vile comments as to the injury??????? The usual 'Gallic shrug' ??? They're as low as it gets.

Was watching the match and was really surprised why the commentators weren't making more of a deal of it when he was on the ground, he looked in agony! That's the sort of pain you can't fake...it really didn't look like that hard a tackle for sure, but as soon as I saw his reaction it looked like he'd broken something.
Oh and needless to say, these arsenal fans are hypocritical wankers...they picked the right club then!

Update
Etienne Capoue went down with what looked like a horrible leg injury in the North London Derby against Arsenal on Sunday, but it looks like he's come away from that incident without any serious long-term problems. French outlet L'Equipe is reporting that the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was examined after the game and that it was determined that there is no fracture in his left fibula.
If true, it's a big boost for Spurs. Capoue has looked like an excellent signing thus far and his presence has allowed Sandro to ease back into full fitness. Capoue looked to be in terrible pain when he was stretchered off the pitch, but apparently the injury wasn't as bad as first feared.
Of course, an MRI could still reveal something different.
