Don't get too depressed about those sections of the media - MOTD for one - who commented without obviously having watching us. At least the Sunday Telegraph (page S3 mach report) proved that they were actually there.
"The differences between TP's side and Hughes's team are currently only subtle. Full backs push up a lot higher now and there is more fluidity in central areas. Midfielders are allowed to attack and the team is not quite as rigid." The writer adds some reasonable criticism and surely understands that this team is only short term.
Depressing that I heard some of our supporters (in the bus queue) say that nothing had changed!
Personally, can't wait to see our 'real team' in two weeks time. though don't expect immediate miracles. The stat's were significant, with tackling, of all things, low down the list (explaining the very poor first half performance) but shots on target up yet again. And wasn't that our biggest criticism, during the past few seasons. It was certainly mine.
