Life is a mystery.
Anyway, hope you're doing fine now Howard, in your next life.

You will take solace and comfort from the many fine people on here. I certainly did last year.
All the very best from me and my family to you and yours. Take pride from watching his beloved Potters mate. He will be watching from above with my old man and thousands of other Stokies.

Matchdays are never the same - will be doing my usual "pre-season ritual" next Saturday mind, (bunch of red and white carnations on my parents' grave in Biddulph - then off to the match with the next generation accompanying me). But following the Potters is a source of continuity and comfort (mostly!). All the best to you and yours.

Just a quick one. Had a call from my best mate who came to Dads funeral and is a massive Stokie. Been to put flowers on Dads final resting place and noticed that my old man is buried very close to John Richie. This actually made me smile for the first time today. Happy Birthday Dad!

Condolences to you and your family.
As a lifetime Stokie, your dad will still be watching the game tomorrow. Hope he enjoys what he sees!
