Why not do it first thing in the morning? Make it part of your routine. Get it out of the way early doors then. Easier said than done on a work day. I will make the time dont you worry. Once committed I’m a stubborn bastard Surely you don't need to be committed to achieve that

Easier said than done on a work day. I will make the time dont you worry. Once committed I’m a stubborn bastard Surely you don't need to be committed to achieve that If all I did was run then yes but I want to do at least a mile a day but it will be mostly more. It’s more commitment than you realise to add it to big cycling days, kids & work etc. I get up early and drive to somewhere like Yorkshire a couple of days a month for a big day on the hills. So yeah to throw a run in at the end is a commitment. Even after 50 miles yesterday on my inside bike it’s a tough ask to add a run.

Just about to head out and pass 1000 running miles for the year. Good effort that mate. 32 now to go for me for 10,000. I’m more pleased with over doubling my yearly elevation to 530,000 feet

7 miles on the trails around Silverdale and Apedale this morning in the snow. It looks fabulous up there. Nice to see so many families out there enjoying the sledging

This slower running lark is really paying off!: 02 December 1 hour 18 for just over 8 miles average pace 9:31 30 December 1 hour 12 for just over 8 miles average pace 8:54 Certainly better for me to run a bit slower but consistently rather than bombing off like Salop when the bar's just opened and then finishing like Fraise when it's tax return time.

I feel I've lost all momentum with this calf injury (which still isn't clear). I went for a much slower than usual run today but was knackered. I don't know if the cold and running on snow/ice at times made it that much worse.

I ran a mile yesterday. Only 8:14 but it was immediately after a 108 mile indoor cycle ride. yep at least a mile every day in January is a bit tougher than it looks

All between 8 and 8:24 pace plus I’ve added a 10lb back pack to some of them 25 bastard days to go

3 treadmill runs to start 2021.
A steady 7km and 2 x 6km interval runs.
A 25 minute HIIT workout in the middle too, to complete 4 workouts in 4 days for the week 👍👍
Big effort was needed after a 2 week binge over Xmas and New Year. Too much food and alcohol and zero exercise!
