Sad news. Can't claim to have known her personally but without doubt an instantly recognisable face on a matchday for as long as I can remember

Oh dear, this is the saddest news. What a lovely lady she was. And what strength she had in that little body. I only knew her for about 12 years but I remember not believing it when Malcolm Clarke first told me her age when we all (including Mabel) got kept behind by the Police as if we were naughty school kids after a night game against Burnley. Games, especially away games, won't be the same without Mabel. In the nicest possible way she was part of the furniture.
I hope all of her family find comfort and peace at this sad time. May their memories of a wonderful lady and their shared love get them through the next few difficult weeks.
Rest in Peace Mabel - you'll be sadly missed, not only by your close family and friends but by hundreds, maybe thousands, of Stokies whose lives you enriched.

R.I.P. Mabel. First spotted/noticed her at Burnley away in the Bee Hole end the scarf and badges she stood out as a true supporter (When I was a nipper). In the 40 years since she has been a fixture at most games home and away I have attended.

God bless Mabel. How very, very sad - a Stokie legend and a fighter to the end.
Mabel deserves the fullest recognition from the Club and the local media.

An honarary 'auntie' to scores of young stokies - " Who is the lady with all the badges Dad " " That son, is Mabel" How many of us have been asked that down the years? The epitomy of a true fan. RIP Mabel and best wishes to all your family x

Very sad news. I didn't know her personally, but then again you didn't need to, because the lady with the badges has always been there for the whole of our supporting lives.
RIP Mabel and condolences to all family and friends.

Such sad news. Deepest condolences to those close to Mabel. Met her many times whilst I worked in the ticket office and she was always the most charming lady and forever will be part of the Stoke City family.
