Sometimes 4-4-2, sometimes 4-2-3-1.

For a team that supposedly couldn't defend anything they didn't half have a good defensive record. And still scored more goals and got more points than us in our most enjoyable Prem season.

As long as it's not 9-1 I'm not bothered.

At QPR it was a a formation that didn't win many games over a season and a half.

I don't think he plays 1-10 in away games

The best managers surely play the formation that gets the best out of his available players - and change it as is necessary according to the opposition and circumstances.

What's going to happen to the Mama role? It's going to become an honorary snack on the lunch menu at the training ground (they couldn't afford, or be arsed, with a statue).

It was a simple question? Who gives a fuck if they won more games if they finished higher in the league and got more points?

A Demebele 'type' player would be good for starters, someone who can thread passes, with Nzonzi being the 'grafter' and breaking up play and starting off moves, coupled with a couple of fresh wingers to challenge Ethers (if hes still here).
Butland
Shotton Shawcross Huth Wilson
Kightly/a.n.other Dmebele type???? Nznonzi Ethers/a.n.other
Crouch
Jerome
Still think Jerome has something to offer in the set up and if we can get another in up front and NOT rely on Walters, this will benefit both Walters himself in getting a break

Was Nzonzi at Blackburn during Hughes' time? Any rapport there? Assuming Hughes is the next mangager - maybe he can help us keep Nzonzi.

Who knows marra, Hughes might see a system or way that gets more out of him - what that is I dont know, but unlike quite a few of disrespectful posters on this board, I'll give the fella a chance

During his spell in charge of Blackburn, Hughes' side was accused of being "over-physical" and "dirty" on multiple occasions and the club finished bottom of the Premier League disciplinary table in all four of Hughes' seasons in charge.
Should fit in well lol
