I Love my club.Which is why i dont want this arrogant self serving prick anywhere near it. We needed a ceed change from top to bottom on the playing side not another Tony Pulis in a suit. The board if they appoint this clown will have missed a great opportunity to take us down a different path. Instead we will going over the same old ground in a different pair of boots. Shame.

The problem is, a lot on here don't care about stoke city, all they care about is premier league football, it must of been the extra few we gained 5 years ago.

Hughes himself is really in the last chance saloon with regards Premiership management. Most pundits/critics alike can see what he did at Blackburn for sure, but the taste of what went wrong at QPR still looks bad. The Club that most other Premiership sides love to hate, a manager who fans including what will be our own no doubt, have had grievances in the past with & a recent history of "playing horrible beautifully" that again makes most others cringe.
Sounds like a perfect recipe then!

When PC appointed TP,my heart sank. However, TP took us to where we dreamed of being, he took us into the promised land of the Prem.TP will have my everlasting thanks for what he did, even if not always for the way he did it.TP is now gone- to the relief of many, not particularly myself - and PC looks like giving us MH. Thanks in advance PC for what we are about to receive. MH, like any other manager, and I mean any other manager, will have my backing as long as I can see him doing the best for my club. PC may be the rich chairman, and be pouring his money into the club and I thank him for it, but it was my club long before PC bought it, and it will always be my club.Whoever owns, whoever manages SCFC, makes little difference to me. I am A Stokie, loud and proud. Come on Mark lad, show us what you've got, and be sure that if you fill the bill, you'll have all of our support. Thanks one again TP for the good times.

If indeed it is Hughes then quite obviously he deserves a proper chance to make it his team and that may take a little time......let's face it the squad he's inheriting is unbalanced and needs a lot of work. Also he's not going to have anywhere near the money that's been wasted in the last couple of seasons judging by the noises coming from the club. I'm looking forward to the change at this moment, personally.

Can somebody just tell me why you HATE mark Hughes? Its a good question....some Stokies could go through the entire odds list of candidates & bemoan every bugger for some reason.

and a massive 3 points in front of stoke in 13th who played in a cup final. but the moment he is the stoke boss i back him Yes, but they still finished 8th didn't they? If pulis hadn't of classed one of the games that season as a "bonus game" we cold of finished higher, then you would've had a point.[/quo bonus games stoke won more games than fulham, dont you think the cup final had any affect on the league table.

I didn't want him but my judgement is certainly not infallible. He may well succeed. It's a blank slate that he starts with as far as I'm concerned. Is the right answer.

I've supported Stoke with worse managers than him, so that won't stop, but I don't think I will ever warm to him. Hopefully he will be very successful and quickly leave us in the lurch like he did Fulham.
