Talksport say that official confirmation might not come until tomorrow.
With a new manager announcement, perhaps?

Maybe not so much PC's decision anymore.

There will be a replacement, in fact I'm 100% there is. Rafa currently in the USA and for now out of the way. Rafa knows the club and staff members well and by all accounts is really impressed in the direction the club is going. I spoke to a friend last week and told him to place a tenner on Rafa becoming our next manager, not ITK at all but it was always going to happen. I can also see P Neville becoming his No2. As for his transfer kitty, who knows but It'll to be 50m plus IMO.

Some typically uninformed comments on the BBC website from non-Stoke fans.
"Charlton this, Charlton that, blah, blah, blah..."

I wanted the bloke out because I feel he's taken us as far as he can. We seem to be going backwards rather than progressing, so it's got to be time for a change. Having said that, now he's gone, I feel like I've been kicked in the bollocks. We've got to appoint the right man now. Thanks for everything Tony, you got us back amongst the big boys, and for that I'll be eternally grateful.

The tone of TP's reaction interview will be fascinating in light of that. I didn't think PC had it in him to sack him, something major must have gone down surely. Coaching staff started back stabbing TP Judas bastards

Besides....I thought you said we were getting taken over by Americans and his departure would be anounced before the Spurs game?

I doubt PC sacked him over that interview, its was Parsons saying I find good players but he didn't sign him, I mean Adebayor in the Championship.

Kev pretty much does the same as everyone on this board, takes in the rumours and edges his bets. BTW how shit are our press staff, apparenly angry at Talksport by asking questions about TP.

Would anyone like to see giovanni trapattoni? And the joke of the day goes to.... An old negative cunt who rates Jon Walters and believes Glenn Whelan is the "next Gattusso" is the last thing we need.

This has been a terrific debate about Tony Pulis. and the issue is now sorted. Despite recent comments by some this is a great board, with some knowledgeable posters. It was always a decision for Peter Coates and he has made it. Whatever views were expressed on here, people only had the best interest of Stoke City at heart. Life is about thinking ahead and I'm sure that is what both Stoke City and Tony Pulis will do. I have disagreed with nearly everything you have posted. But I must say, fair play for this post.top man.
