No he isn't! I've gone on record to say it is best for all concerned if TP leaves at the end of the season. My worry is that Uncle Peter will jack it in as well. Where have you been Marchy? Think we will win tomorrow? Hope so, mate. Then we can relax and the club can start making changes for next season.

Come on Come on? What bits are shite? All right I just clicked on your posting history to find something... Clicked on threads started... went to the first page... And you had started a thread saying how great Tony Mowbray was and posting a link to an audio for an interview with him.

sandbank, I would imagine the issues around Tony Pulis will be sorted soon. I would not expect to spend the same time on here after that. Very interesting - Geoff? The perception that I (and possibly many others) gain of your somewhat relentless campaigning for TP - is that you are a person with a mission. Now, that's fine [anyone can have a mission] but I share Paul's curiosity concerning both your motives and what is driving it. After all, think about it Geoff: it just doesn't seem to stack up that some well-meaning, arms-length [from SCFC] football enthusiast would so tenaciously hit this message board and doggedly argue the why's and wherefores' of what is fair and not fair about fan's/people's views on their football club manager. You have indicated that he is not your football club manager - as you have confessed that you have no particular allegiance. With the best will in the world, and recognising that you have conducted yourself in a respectable and civilised manner, you really do need to "come clean" as to just what you're about in this personal, almost unique, campaign to defend TP. Now please don't misunderstand me - I have the utmost respect for someone arguing a point of view; the only problem is that, based on your comments, the passion stoical approach you demonstrate [just on the basis of a passing interest?] doesn't seem to ring quite true. And that is where your mission founders on the rocks.

Agreed, I think that at the moment he has alienated too many fans and if he left at the end of the season he would go out (providing we stay up) with his record intact and his head held high. However I do think a couple of wins towards the end of the season and speculation will die down. It would be a sad day for him to go as he has been such a big part in helping get this club up, keeping us there and (something I most love him for) giving us this real identity of Stoke City. Up until the past few months teams have genuinely feared playing Stoke, much more than they have the likes of West Brom, Fulham etc. and that is because of the identity he has created when we first came up with the Delap throws and the up and at em style every game. The problem has been that with better players coming in (which they undoubtedly have) our identity has become diluted which is why as I said in my opening sentence that the fans have become alienated. If he does go I would like it to be announced before the Tottenham game (again, providing we are safe) so he can get the goodbye he deserves. There is only one Tony Pulis.

Is it totally beyond the realms of possibility that Geoff is in fact Geoff Cameron? I'd imagine Cameron is a big TP "supporter" given the fact that Tone has paved the way and provided him with a career in premier league football. Is Geoff aware that if Pulis' tenure is over, his premier league dream might well be over too and hes thus trying to defend the man he needs? Yep..,blame TP for my current state of madness

To be fair March you have also gone on record and said that the Europa Cup is full of pub teams and we should have walked it and also that goals in football are irrelevant being two of your finest , so don't be offended when I take anything that you say with a pinch of salt old boy. I may be wrong, but I don't think there is much love lost between Phil Rawlins and Tony Pulis. H Why is that? I think it all stems from when Pulis wanted to close the academy to use the money on players and Phil Rawlins pumped the money in to save it. H

March, Good to have you back mate and from the looks of things you have finally seen the "light" 3 points is important today. Considering we will almost certainly lose our last 3 I think its crucial that we maximise todays opportunity. A draw isnt enough. 38 points isnt enough.

A new manager with the full support of Uncle Peter is the main aim.

Someone along the lines of Gus Poyet could see Stoke City return to its former glory days. Good football and success.
