These kind of challenges are happening week in week out all over the country, in no way am I saying that Martin Taylor deliberately meant to seriously hurt Eduardo, but no one can deny how high off the floor his studs were showing when he made contact with Eduardo's shin, I feels sorry for both parties concerned and I think everyone one from Stoke City will be wishing Eduardo the speediest of recoveries !!!!!

Intentional or not it was recklessly high with studs showing, a long ban to make an example of him.

Simple red card offence, 3 game ban is all it should be

A simple 3 game ban should suffice. How high were sidibe's feet for his overhead kick ?

A simple 3 game ban should suffice. How high were sidibe's feet for his overhead kick ? Would that be the overhead kick that led to the ball receiving a double compound fracture of the leg; and the reality that being involved in professional football again is slim???

I notice the press are going OTT on Taylor.
3 game ban then forget about it.

I think eduardo was too quick for taylor and Taylor didnt mean it (we hope) i think this is just a run of the mill, late challenge which ended in disaster...i think Dicko did the same against Ipswich on Satdee bu instead of tackling high, he hurt the player slightly...not saying Dicko is like Taylor but just shows how you become determined enough to slide very strongly into challenges...Dicko luckily got a touch on the ball meaning it wasnt necessarily a dirty foul....

It was simply a mistimed tackle thats all, so why should he be treated any differently from other players who mistime tackles?
