Peter Kay is about as funny as falling down a flight of stairs and landing in a pit of upturned plugs.

if you go back to live aid and add all the rest of the televisided fund raising that goes on the total must be in the 10s of billions yet there are some in africa without a a fucking mosquito net. They are currently 3 quid each,so why are kids still dying.
If all the world handed over their money tomorrow to these fucking charities, they'd still be 100 million quid short.
and that cunt Lenny Henry only comes out once a year to do this and is about as funny as my piles..
Why is it that this country thinks more of other countries than it does it's own....
Totally pissed of with looking after every fucker else when we've got our own going to food banks just to eat..
this country fucking sucks big time.

I'd give anything for the BBC instead of Fox "News" The difference is that the BBC is insidious, having many decades more practice at crafting its art. I promise you, sit through an hour of Fox or MSNBC and you'll be crying out for the impartiality of the BBC.

I don't like the shows new image with fading stars looking to rekindle their careers.
It's not as good as it used to be.

"impartiality" and the BBC is about as oxymoronic as you can get - they've all got an agenda for sure but some don't try and dupe ordinary folk into believing that it's impartial and dining out on its soft and fluffy 1950s "auntie" tag.....

It is legally bound to be impartial. Whether or not it achieves this lofty aim, I know it's something they spend a lot of time striving for. Here's a decent article from Nick Robinson, the BBC's political director. www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/bbc/9604479/The-BBC-Impartiality-is-like-marital-bliss-never-quite-achieved.html

Sorry Tubes but they don't call him "toenails" for nothing. I read the article and you can find a lot more enlightenment in the comments as to the many reasons that BBC is inherantly biased and agenda driven - its in their DNA. I recommend you take a shufty at biasedbbc.org - some commentators are a bit one topic but there are many eye openers...
At the end of the day I wouldnt care what the BBC say and do just as long as they dont compel me by law to pay for it - but they do and theres nowt i can do about it, unlike Sky where if i dont like it i wont buy it.

I think having a strong public broadcaster is an immense asset to the UK. I think at times it makes mistakes, but it has an incredible reputation around the globe, and personally I think it's something we should be proud of.

Isn't biasedbbc.org a bit hypocritical considering they're probably very biased against the BBC? They may not be but I aren't wasting my time by going on there.

That's fair enough Tubes - we can agree to disagree. Bayern - probably some truth in that but they do get counter opinion - much from Beeboids themselves. That said with >50k posts I'm not suprised you won't have time to look at the site ! ;-)
