As tonight's Sentivale segment includes the Holocaust season, who was one of the 4,597 there when we lost 3-2 to Norwich. Me and the Missus were in the Butler Street Stand so can the other 4595 own up. I've a feeling this could turn out like Peterborough away in the Autoglass where I think Bunny reckons there were 250000 of us there. These young 'uns have no idea.....

Missed that one sadly. I say sadly because we scored more than 10% of our home goals for that horrendous season in that one game! We failed to score in 25 of our 42 league games. Some folk still think we are called Stoke City Nil because of that season.

That figure is wrong.
There were at least 37,600 at that match, all of whom post on this messageboard, and all of whom agree Pulis has made supporting Stoke much worse now.*
* I know, I know, it's only more unacceptable now because Pulis has spent loads of money....

My honest answer would be "I might have been there!". I used to go virtually every home game, but I don't remember it. I do remember the 2-1 win over United because I was in the Boothen End. I also seem to remember losing 0-3 to Coventry that season, but my memory might be faulty!

Before the game I heard there were almost 40,000 there and the queues stretched all the way to Bourne Sports. That's the reason why I didn't go, honest BTW Full credit to the 4,597 who did actually attend. That was dedication beyond the call of duty.

Last game of the season.

I don't think I went to that one. I was only a young lad at the time so I went during that season when my step dad or uncle felt it was appropriate.
I saw us lose some but I also saw our 3 wins that season and cried when leaving the ground after our 5-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
The following season was my first as a regular and my first as a season ticket holder came a couple of seasons after that.

Went every game that season. The gate was around 8000 stokies for most games, if Pulis had have been in charge it would have been 4000

Unlikely I was there, only went a few games each year until the following season when I started 6th form.

I was there
If my memory serves me correctly wasn't it the game when Keith Bertschin knotched his first goal and ran the length of the pitch to celebrate at the Boothen ?

Yes had the fortune to be there with me dad , cant recall the game but went them all that season for the scintillating football that Asprey had us playing. Strangely enough besides the wins, the Coventry game always stays with me, perhaps because I really wanted them to go down and Painter missed that pen!!!

I had a season ticket but cannot recall whether I was there or not. Too much ale, women and hassle in the following years has numbed my brain!

Barry Siddall at Old Trafford was the worst goalkeeping performance I've ever seen with the exception of Gordon Marshall at Luton
