I have for so long now been a s/t holder that saturdays just would not be the same without my fix of SCFC...But...I am finding it hard to justify my continued turn out when Mr Crouch is our forward and there seems little chance of us becoming more cavalier with some good young fast wizards knocking on the door of the first team...So I will wait and see if P.C. can reshape our direction and start something new and exciting with or without the capped one!

There's no question of me not renewing, although my job situation is a bit precarious at the moment, so I really don't know whether I'll still be in a job where Weekends-off is a given.
Mind you, at current prices I think I'd only have to go to about two-thirds of the games and I still wouldn't be out of pocket. Failing that, there's always the option of sharing the ticket with someone etc.
I can't imagine not going on a Saturday, no matter how boring the game can be.

That will be hard to do although the empty away ends in many grounds should already be spelling it out to them. We can but hope and trust that the FSF can apply enough pressure.

I can't see why you would not renew. I come up from London for every game with my two boys, or one of their mates, if one boy has a school match. We have a queue of West London teenagers waiting to come because they love it. I don't know where you can get significanlty better football for the same money, certainly not at West Brom, West Ham, Norwich, Fulham, Sunderland, Reading (they were awful), Newcastle, QPR or Villa. Maybe Southampton and Wigan but not certain, so that is over half the league and I am not sure Liverpool or Everton is gripping every week. I think there is a risk we are searching for something that doesn't exist in terms of quality of football and results taken together.

I didn't renew this season( wished I had). This was due to work commitments. Last season I only saw 5 home games my friend has my ticket for the games I can't go(I borrow my season ticket). This season I would have only been able to go to one game due to work.

I'm not sure I see the point of these threads. Every year most people say they will renew. Every year a few who say they won't renew, change their mind and renew, depite saying they wouldn't. Every year a number of people announce midway through the season that they have had enough and want to sell their season ticket - yet they refuse to reply if anyone offers to buy it! ;D
As a poster above says, we'll sell about the same number of STs as last year - maybe a few more. The bulk of the ST sales will be to renewers although a few will drop out for various reasons and a few will step up to take their place.
The End! ;D

It's all a matter of opinion, but I don't think some people know what it's like when things are really bad. If people had been like this over the last 20 years we wouldn't have any support at all.
