Ok I fully appreciate that this thread will get moved to the 'General Discussion' page and I also appreciate alot of people on here don't like golf so do me a favour and just ignore this thread if you are not interested. I have set up a Fantasy Golf League at todaysgolfer.fantasyleague.comYou have to register first and select a team for the first event which is the US Masters. Then if you wish join my private league 'John Rudges Garden' using the PIN '279' It's free and you can win prizes. Cheers H

That boy needs a bloody sombrero!
My days of banditry are now over as I've got my committee meeting to join one of the clubs over here on Monday. I expect to get a 10-12 handicap, but hope to get that into single figures before the year's out.
I've joined your league now.

Well I'm struggling between 15 and 16 at the moment, to be honest I really haven't played much through the winter, but I'm Captain of our Golf Society this year and plan to play a fair bit, hopefully get down to around 10 ish. Only problem is I'm paying for my wedding aswell as moving house so I'm a bit strapped for cah at the mo.

H, they have a habit of doing that - why do you think a tight arse like Hall has avoided one all these years? As an aside, Mike, I'm up for the Cov game and a weekend in Brizzle; maybe that Sunday morning can be the time for a round?

It carries on for the rest of the summer over selected tournaments on both sides of the pond (majors and other biggies).
I suppose I shouldn't be saying this (but, bayern, you are another Leese, so we are distantly related I guess!), but you need to check if the players you have picked are in the next tournament for which points are awarded - otherwise, change them quick!

Bayern - even if you don't change your team again this summer, you'll still beat me if I score like that every week. I already need snookers. I could do with going on a Hull City type of run. BTW boys, there's a messageboard on the actual Fantasy Golf site where we can exchange abuse/pleasantries rather than boring all the other Stokies on this MB shitless.

;D It's a marathon not a sprint!
Just changed my team for the tournament that starts tomorrow. I'm not that confident with this one! I'm pinning all my hopes on Justin Rose!

Yeah, these smaller US tournaments with less big names entered are harder to pick, aren't they, as any one of 100 journeymen pros can win it, most of which none of us have ever heard of!

I've heard of all 6 of mine but I don't know how good they are. Saying that they are all in the top 50 world rankings.

Just looked at your team - not bad at all. Although I think Snedeker was a bit of a flash in the pan at the Masters and will disappear back into the pack now.
