Hallo guten Tag!! Only lived in two places back home Westlands and Etruria, in the wrong order (from the sublime to the ridiculous). Now residing a cockstride from the Millerntor-Stadion, home of FC St. Pauli. If you're ever in Hamburg, Germany and you're a "Potter" give us a shout!! Harry

Been a supporter since the late 50's (old git), never missed a match during the 70's but in 1981 had to move to Singapore (thanks to a yellow digger company) where I spent 5 years. Then moved to Sydney, Australia for a couple of years. Returned to the UK with itchy feet and have since worked in Kenya and Uganda, from there I lived in Torquay for a while and have recently moved to Gloucester. I am getting closer to a return

Ended up going to all the US tour games this summer, so technically last saw them in the flesh on Aug 1. Hope they come back over next year (perhaps to a few different cities).
Last game that mattered was at home to Spurs last December - cracking win! Next up will likely be Spurs away then Liverpool/Southampton at home this Christmas.

No thank you. This is the reason why The Shit are hated so much. To be a Stoke fan you must be born in Stoke IMO. 100% agree. If not born in Stoke then you must have lived in Stoke for a long time or at least have links to SOT or the surrounding area. No one can stop anyone from calling themselves Stoke fans, no one can stop anyone else from coming to the match, and I'm sure none of us would want to , but they will NEVER be Stokies and never be classed as one of us deep down. Being made to feel welcome is one thing but most proper Stoke folk wouldn't see them as 'one of the lads'. Football is tribal and territorial. Its like you walking into a Millwall pub and saying you are a Millwall lad. They would most probably make you feel welcome but they would never truely see you as a 'millwall' . Same at Stoke

To the many Norwegian Stokies...I went on a cruise last December Hurtigruten line Bergen to Nord Cap and beyond to Russian border and have to say I absolutely love your country the Northern lights were just breath taking north of Tromso for three nights can not wait to return. Up the Potters how do you say that in Norwegian?

Born in a tiny village about 10 mile from Stoke town (still in S-O-T though). Lived in quite a few places, over the years ... Now live in a VERY tiny village about 50km from Adelaide, South Australia (been here 4.5 years, now ... doesn't time fly!) Over the page, someone was wondering about "Ah Up" ... I think "Eh Up" might have been a better way to spell it ... Definately Stokie

When's the last time you guys saw stoke play live (in flesh!) ? And do you get much TV coverage? I became a Stokie in '74 when my mum and dad gave me a Stoke-kit, but I didn't visit Stoke until 2000 when we played Bournemouth (won 1-0 ). I've been trying to visit S-o-T once a year or so since then and have seen matches against Scunthorpe, Bristol R, Wrexham, Reading, Watford, Coventry, Hull and WBA. Stoke got a lot of coverage when Norwegian telly started showing Match Of The Day, but attention faded when the club struggled in the 80'ies and 90'ies. The promotion to Premier League has given the club new attention again, though.

Up the Potters how do you say that in Norwegian? I would translate it to 'Kom igjen, Stoke!' Glad you enjoyed Norway! The Northern light is really spectacular.
