Former Bradford chairman Geoffrey Richmond has confirmed his involvement with the Yorkshire-based consortium hoping to save Leeds but insisted he has acted only as an advisor.
Well thats that idea knackered then!! What will he advise them? "What you do is spend a shedload of money you haven't got on players who aren't interested. Don't worry because when it goes tits up you just walk away with a million quid in your arse pocket"
Desperate for Leeds innit.

It certainly is. I can assure you that having Geoffrey Richmond involved is not considered a great option by the Leeds faithful. I live in the area and it's good to be a stokie with Bradford also down shitty creek

The situation Leeds are in is staggering. When are they finally going to go into administration? Its dragged on for months.
Bradford are diabolical too. Fans suffering because of mismanagement.

Yeah, they might be suffering now Joe, but you can bet your arse they were lording it when they were being promoted to the Premiership at Wolves and then saving their skins against Liverpool.
I wonder how many of them cared to look into the future when they signed Benito Carbone on a reported £40,000 a week. How many of them felt genuinely worried about what would happen when they inevitably lost their Premiership status?
I do sympathise with them to a degree, but there are plenty of fans of other clubs out there who've had to put up with much, much more.

Yeah, thats the mistake they made. After they stayed up against Liverpool they started acting like a top six club. I must admit if we did the same thing I'd be wary of the consequences of daft spending.

I don't think I would be as sensible as you Joe. Being a 21 year old, who acts as though those two digits should be reversed, sometimes. I think I would be so swept up in the euphoria of staying up that my brain would just not be capable of that kind of caution or forward thinking. Hopefully I might find myself in that position soon. Maybe not the beating relegation by the skin of my teeth bit, don't think the old heart could cope. But definately the securing the Premireship survival part.
