I have been thinking about players who would improve our squad without breaking the bank.

Yeah - Williams at Boro has caught the eye when I've seen him. Realistic kind of target as well.

If Bolton go down, I'd be steaming in for Chung-Yong Lee too.

Whittingham defo Pulis type player.
Mark Davies I think is a cracking player but far too atttacking for TP.
Palacios and Diamme would do for me with Wilson to fill in once TP gets over his affliction in not buying true, proper, actual, it is my natural position full backs.
He'll also go for Jarvis I think.
Hoyte I can't see Kev, maybe though but also agree he would improve us.
Don't know much about Gunter to be honest.

Whenever we talk about wolves players he's not mentioned though...is there a reason for this? Is he shit?

Certainly his form hasn't hit the heights this season compared when he was at Pompey or when we showed apparent interest for him a year or so ago.

Looks to have put on a few pounds and definitely has lost confidence, some of which may be down to the appalling abuse he and his partner received from knuckle dragging Wolves fans a few months ago.

On his day he can be a top notch player who just needs the best bringing out in him IMHO.

Lee from Bolton would be a great signing but falls into the Tuncay bracket in a TP team. Davies is inconsistent from the games I've seen.

The two out and out players I would like are Jarvis(showed us recently how to attack a full back) and Redmond (this would allow TP to play the one winger away from home but have the genuine pace to attack that we are so lacking).

I like O'Hara but his injury record makes him a no go for me. Not in a TP midfield where you need to be made out of granite.

Very good call and all would improve us. I really like Whittingham however heard Reading were interested in him. All the above are realistic signings. I'd also add Zaha and if West Ham don't go up Vaz Te and Collison.

I've never got the Lee love-in (as Grapey well knows) but I do recall we were linked with before he went to Bolton and as we all know, Pulis always gets his man! Is he predominantly right sided though. If Holden got fit again and the Trotters get relegated I'd like him too.

I see Reading are linked with Ryan Bertrand too. I'd like us to look at him too but too attack-minded for Pulis.

Yeah - you're sceptical of Chungy's talents, aren't you, Jim? ;D

I do find it interesting that he's represented by Beswicks, though. Could give us an unusual way in on him.

And Megson was a huge fan of him, and Tone would potentially trust his judgement as he sees the game in the same black and white way (mind you, he was a huge fan of Marshall and that didn't ultimately count for a hill of beans)

He does play on the right 90% of the time, I think - but does occasionally switch to the left. Seems a disciplined and hard-working type, like Park at United too - which Tone'd love.

Coyle gushes about him more than any other player in the squad.

Is Holden cageable? Dunno. But, either way, you can't see anyone moving for him this summer until he's got a few months playing time under his belt and proven he's back up to full speed. And a return of any type seems a way off for him.
