Gervais has become very annoying, but i still think the office was a great show, as with anything when they get popular they become boring, sick of the sight of Gervais.
I can't believe this thread has gone 30 odd posts and nobody has mentioned the utter utter UTTER garbage Max and Paddy.

Really ?... i thought Pheonix nights had it's moments but max and paddy was just horrible, it was blatantly and unashamedly aimed at moronic zoo magazine readers.

Hmm, I got the feel that it was self-aware of its own lowbrow level and played on it a bit... Maybe I'm looking too much into it and it was actually crap.

One was really good, and one was utter wank. I didn't actually end up reading Frankenstein, so that was a bit of a handicap when coming to actually write about it. Thank God for Wikiquote. I can email them to you if you're intereseted in reading them?

Rebelliousjukebox (you're not a Fall fan too by anychance with a name like that) as Voltaire? said "I disagree with what you have to say but will fight to the death to protect your right to say it." I won't go that far but you understand the sentiment But this is funny Alan Partridge "Twat...that was liquid football" Rebellious Jukebox was also the name of a show I did on a pirate radio station at Uni some 26 odd years ago - named after the Fall song, not the other way round!

I found I had a hard time "getting" English humour at first. I now enjoy "Only Fools and Horses", but I can't say I have given many of the others mentioned on here a chance.
