Sidibe should have been booted out when we got promoted 4 years ago ....Chronic. Fuller....Was a very good player , but sadly no where near good enough for the Premiership. Delap...The same Woodgate...The Same Diao ...The same. Based on what we've seen this season, there's not really anything like enough evidence to write Fuller off like that. Nor Mama

Given some of the posts on here recently I assume some can't wait for Mama to be back.
He's vital to how we play. No one can do the role as well as him.

Let's be honest, Mama getting injured was a blessing as it forced TP into bringing in much needed reinforcements.
Anyway, we don't need either so they can leave at the end of the season imo...after a nice send off hopefully.
No room for sentiment in football either.

We've got to move on - I like Mama as a person but we can't just pay people because they are 'legends'. He's a injury timebomb now I'm afraid.
Fuller still has something to offer.

Go on mama!
I can still imagine mama winning the flick on and ric running onto the ball. Maybe a quick interchange with lenny on the right before smashing it home!
Say what you like about mama, but just like fuller and lawrence he was a huge part of a glorious time in our recent history and i love him to bits!
Mama do the hump!

Q.Do you think we should keep Mama and Ric on board for next season?
A.Yes they are our best current strike partnership

Fuller, keep, but on a sensible contract reflecting that he will play perhaps 50% of games coming off the bench
Mama - Got to let him go I'm afraid, he has nothing to offer us anymore, We should rehabilitate him though and let him train with us, if he wants too, while he looks for new club

With Mama a lot will depend on what happens with Kenwyn. If KJ goes then expect to see Mama given another opprtunity to get fit. If KJ stays I still expect Mama to have some association with the club. With Ric its a no brainer he has to stay.

With no European football next season then losing 2 of either Mama, Rik or KJ is still going to leave us with 3 strikers. I think Tone would go out and buy another striker if we lost KJ, rather than bring Mama back into the squad.

Realistically, time to move on - Ric to a couple more seasons with a Champ club, he's just, just short of being shape enough to justify his temperament at this level - and Mama onto the coaching/ambassadorial staff, he's a proper adopted Stokie and I strongly suspect TP and PC will acknowledge that in whatever happens next.

There is still a space for Mama in TP's squad, we currently havn't found anyone who can play the Mama role quite like him, Tp wears Mama Sidibe Pajamas, he is the best Mama at the club by a country mile. There is still life in the Mama and Ric Partnership yet.

Foster I think that there are only 4 players in this league that can play the Mama role and we've got 2 of them. The others are Davies and Drogba and I can't see us getting either of them. TP loves mama and and I guess he will give hime every possible chance.

This is what I've been trying to get across lately when people bollock on about Jermain Defoe.

Rob I agree with you. We play a certain way and will move heaven and earth to get them to play "our" way. Crouch is just about managing it but by and large it hasn't been pretty.
